He's not really facing anything yet, he hasn't even been officially charged with anything. He's just a suspect…
yeah he doesn't seem like that logical of a guy to be honest, you might be asking too much of him. Though it would be nice to see him in therapy again during all this.
If I were Se Na, I would be regretting the time and money I spent stanning this man. Ra Ik has no good sense.…
He's not really facing anything yet, he hasn't even been officially charged with anything. He's just a suspect and they have zero evidence that actually ties him to the crime other than the circumstantial fact that it happened in his house.
No he says he has never been loved. I mean we saw pics of the ex with other men, so she cheated on him. So maybe…
The only thing that doesn't make logical sense in your timeline of events is the conversation he has with the reporter:
"You signed an unfair contract for her and even went against your mother over it."
I'm assuming this happened after the reporter came to them with the photos and was part of the deal to not release them. But why would he go so far for a woman who cheated on him? If they did date then I definitely need more details to understand that thought process, lol. I mean maybe he was angry but didn't want to completely trash her reputation but it still seems like a lot to go through for her?
Going back to my "she's secretly a drug addict" theory maybe she wasn't cheating but scoring drugs and went away to rehab?
I'm not sure they actually dated. I think they have some other sort of co-dependent friendship or something. He…
Ugh previews shouldn't have content that doesn't make it into the episode. Honestly without a flashback of them actually dating I think it leaves it ambiguous. Maybe that's on purpose.

Ah you're right, I miss heard. Or misread, lol. But honestly I still don't think they actually dated because that's the only explanation that makes sense to me as to why he doesn't seem angry at her when he definitely should be. But is instead bending over backwards to save her reputation. Though I guess some people do stupid shit when they care for someone, even if that someone screws them over. But I think there's more to this relationship than just ex-lovers. Their conversation at the river indicates something hinky, there's some reason he doesn't want her involved with law enforcement.
Hye Ju cheated on ML right? The reporter, the CEO, that meeting scene in flashback with the ML, where he was later…
I'm not sure they actually dated. I think they have some other sort of co-dependent friendship or something. He says in the preview for next week he's never been in love and yet he obviously cares for Hye Joo even despite her apparent cheating.
I don't really get why he's so keen on protecting Hye Joo? He says things are over between them and even says in the preview for next week that he's never been in love with someone. There's got to be more background between them to explain why he cares so much about her and is willing to hide information to keep her out of the investigation.
Also their conversation at the river? "You were worried for yourself. Why? Afraid because I met a prosecutor? Afraid I might say something" What's all that about? My first thought is maybe she's an addict? Or something shady with her father's company?
The drama seems to be knocking down suspects one by one. There was another drama that did it this way, basically the minute they started focusing on a character you knew they weren't the culprit. My Perfect Stranger maybe? So I think we can safely rule out Jae Hee. I am kind of suspecting Young Bin just because it's always the innocent looking ones, lol. (That little throw away line of "you know I have nowhere to go")
The prosecutor continues to be a trash human, calling her by a high school derogatory nickname? Are you 12? I hate this guy.
I believe so. Also, the manager gives strong drama king vibes and was quick to discard Ra Ik at the jail visit,…
I just remembered that it's the manager himself who says the only person with a master key to La Ik's place is the housekeeper. I'm not sure if the use of master key is important here or not (ie: I assume she can override the need for a passcode?)
In one episode they say no one has access to his apartment except the cleaning lady but he was woken up by his manager and the CEO in episode 1. So one of them must have the code to his place?
I’ve only seen decent police work in serious crime dramas when the officers are the main characters. In any…
And even then there's usually like one good detective or group of underdogs fighting against a corrupt system of higher ups who are actively helping the bad guys in some way. Very few crime (or crime adjacent) dramas come to mind off the top of my head that don't feature some sort of police corruption.
Do you mean for the prosecutor or her investigator friend? Cause the prosecutor seems like an ass who bullied…
Very true, it's just such an over done trope. Just once I'd love a drama to let men and women be friends without one of them harbouring secret feelings.

Just Between Lovers might be my fave that uses the trope (and actually might be the reason I love the trope so much lol).
