On ep 22, Was there a timeskip? How long has it been since they seen eachother?

This show being cut from 30eps to 24 is the worst thing because I know we would have had more backstory on Yuan Zhu and his struggle. Even though it felt really abrupt, im still heartbroken.

Yuan Zhu was such a great guy, You always worry about the male roommate character but he was always sweet, and gentleman, and never ever crossed the line.
