Great show, simple, beautiful and just nice to have. Not unnecessarily messy and a nice setting overall. I wish supporting characters had a better role to play. The OSTs are very melodious. Only things I’ll cut points for are Dojin’s acting (he was otherwise really sincere with the portrayal, appreciate it and maybe Do Won’s good acting made it more visible) and I didn’t find the need for such a large age gap between the characters. Yeah, idc about how it was in the manhwa, just here for the show.
AMAZING teaser. loved it. so looking forward to it, thanks to a great cast and production team. DP Season 1 remains the only K-drama I've finished in a day, it was that good.
I was surprised he was willing to portray such an unflattering character. He looked like a total punk. I guess…
Exactly, it was a surprise that a rather decently popular figure would be ready to portray such a character. 😭 man he was the worst thing about WLDN but this kind of worked for me lol
Siwon getting beaten up every other episode was the best part of the show. How does that man get acting roles 😭 he’s not a terrible actor but genuinely zero screen presence
23H2 release is a little surprising. December I believe? And little funny how FLW director will be doing another drama with a weather forecaster, I trust his direction because that was the only decent thing about the show.
Seems possible; why would he come back suddenly after 7 years, after Sa Rang received flowers from another man? But…
Yeah, definitely worked at the hotel & met the chairman. I don’t see the storyline going any other way. Still waiting to see what all actually happened tho
If you don't like those clichés you might be disappointed, and if you claim to like K-romcom, what are you expecting?
I don’t get why there are shooters for even clichés 😭 are we not allowed to dislike parts of a show now lol? We end up having botched second half of dramas that started off really well because makers are forced to fill time slots with these pointless cliches. It is ok to admit that we’ve moved past the need of them.
"I hope this drama doesn't do [classic romcom trope here]" Of course it's going to fam! Embrace the cliches and…
I would embrace it if it made least bit of sense 😭 it just gets so pointless & wastes unnecessary amount of time to fill the slots. I hate over the top cringe & still ended up liking A Business Proposal because they very evidently embraced that cringe. There’s way to do things, I wouldn’t want the childhood connection to be a plot point lol, especially in 2023.
Seems possible; why would he come back suddenly after 7 years, after Sa Rang received flowers from another man? But…
oh you mean the lady in resume might be her… I see your theory but honestly, I have a feeling he’s trying to find his mother & that would have been his mothers resume
Seems possible; why would he come back suddenly after 7 years, after Sa Rang received flowers from another man? But…
Wait I don’t get what you mean — isn’t it obvious he came back after he got that letter with a lady’s resume or something & them meeting was a coincidence? I mean childhood connection other than the first meeting at gym we saw.
Pacing is a little off — first episode did it very well & then episode 2 felt like a filler. Knowing the director, all those pretty shots make sense & probably work better for the marketing & long run. But still, I would like more story.
