They are constantly giving bad posters lol... The editing in this one is actually hilarious, spending so much on the show, could have paid graphic designers more.
Okay, I don't get it. I know there are a lot of comments about this but I still feel like adding my 2 cents in.…
Just to correct you— it's not produced by Netflix. Only distributed by them. Plus, I don't mean offence but I feel like you're going a little overboard even though I also think the title isn't the best.
Damn I did not realise that it's the director of Mine. I'm expecting great camerawork & scenes then. King the Land is by Reflection of You director, another set of amazing visuals expected. I'm winning next month haha
Yoo Insoo's comedy is really not landing in this one... It's not on him but more the on the character/writing coz i really haven't been having 'fun' with any of his scenes.
I love the fact that one of the best bonding scenes in this is not between Jeongsuk and the 'friend' but rather with Sora. Lemme be honest, I liked Roy earlier but lately he's rather annoying now for some reason. His friendship seems like it comes with a condition that is unreasonable in the end.
WHY are the netflix k-originals so weak? Either the script is boring/shitty/mediocre, or just playing it too safe.…
You have been watching the wrong Netflix originals sir/ma'am because tbh, they are obviously pushing out one of the most consistently good K-content in past 2-3 years. Sure, their SciFi hasn't been the best, TSS & Glitch were rather disappointing & heallbound failed to be as impressive as it should have been, literally the ones released this year like Queenmaker, Love to Hate You & masterpieces from last year like All of Us are Dead/Juvenile Justice are not something that other networks are making.
Both Hellbound & this face the same problem — the stories are too simple. However, I really find it worth 6 hours. It served with the visuals and it did not feel draggy at any moment. While obviously, like any Sci-Fi it has exaggeration & what not but the tech was actually realistic and fun to look at. I don't want people who 'love' shows like Happiness to talk about this being disappointing lol
How did they even make Seunghi look pitiful in the same episode as Jungseok finding out about the infidelity... The writer is good at this haha. What's worse is that Seunghi is actually nice as a doctor considering how she's been treating Jungseok's mom. She can't be called the victim in this either because she had a lot of time to leave Inho and be a better person but she didn't.
Thanking god (& Netflix) for finally giving us a good looking CGI world. Almost Alice in Borderland level of CGI for a lot of components. I like the realistic/believable tech that they're using too. I like the details with the freckles but the leads definitely did not need to look as good as they did walking in that type of environment lol.
In terms of storyline, this seems to be more intriguing/interesting… if King The Land is too cheesy & clique,…
Historically, the better show ends up with lesser viewers (Run On) while the cheesy ones (True Beauty, Business Proposal) end up with more. Thats just the way majority of K-drama viewers are, unfortunately.
