No way they are turning to this format lol... A proper Netflix original always followed binge format for non-reality dramas. Surprising but I'm guessing weekly release is the new norm if the show is 12+ episodes. Could just be an experiment too.

Do people really like characters like Chihoon? Making a grown man act like that is getting rather primitive lol and seems very unecessary in an otherwise fun show. Same with the Syaon overacting tbh. And then there is that typical creepy neighborhood guy.

not a daily soap having better posters than most new kdramas oh its really hell out there

the show gives major kinda-old kdrama vibes which is good. even with its soapiness, it's still one of the most grounded (and not too over-the-top) cdramas I've watched. I understand the budget constraints but it would have been amazing if the Beijing locations and cars could look 2006/1999 too because not many shows cover that period hehe

The asian soao opera violin music during the "investigation" scenes has me 😭😭😭

The way I did not expect Minhyun to actually be older than Sohyun but damn... we've been seeing her on screen for so long that my perception was clearly off.

Yun Ji On is the best actor here, especially for the mediocre material given to him... the show is pretty decent. Let's see if the goodness lasts till the end.

I was probably expecting more action but yes, this season was more about doing the right thing. A solid 8.5 unlike the 10 i gave to first season. 6 episodes really help keep it engaging. Netflix consistently delivering.

I think Junho saw the potential, plus the fact that it's a high budget production and one of the flagship shows of this year obviously contributed to him accepting the offer. The problem is it's visible how the acting style is not suiting him rn. He started off with the character in a totally different way and clearly the production is demanding cheesy over-the-top forced romantic dialogues. Truly a sad sight lol because hes actually a great actor.

It’s not surprising. Even I don’t feel like watching it as it airs, in same night anymore. It’s a great romcom but otherwise the drama really asks you to completely drop your logic & brain and just keep consuming whatever they serve.

The show is meant to be watched without really thinking about these things but at points it gets a little too obvious to not mention. Well, I’m hoping it ends its run decently.

I would once again like to reiterate that I love this show BUT the over-the-top forced & cringed dialogues seems rather unnatural from a character like Won & Junho’s acting style for him. The half sister always has those same 2 annoying expressions which are getting rather unbearable for me.
