it should be asked why these always come out when the person's career is gaining momentum, seems more opportunistic…
Your past will have consequences on your current being. Shouldn't have done horrible things to start with. Blaming the victims for coming forward while their bully gets popular as lovely little actress.... yeah, not it,
It would be nice if people would be more careful about making public accusations against people, especially when…
Uh, seeing the person you got bullied by being "loved" by thousands of fans is when you'd come forward lol. Stop blaming victims especially when most of the time these agencies force them to retract it and take the blame back.
I really hate knetizens are that desperate to bring the downfall on celebrities
Please stop being dense, they did raise very valid concerns and the "bystander" stuff is obvious bs on her part, she WAS clearly in that "group". Go to her MDl page and see the first comment, it's me. I loved her work but let's not diminish that it is more than likely these are not good ppl lol.
I love myself an action drama & the cast is impressive. I have high hopes but the teaser was very convoluted, Disney+ needs to learn from Netflix how to make decent promo material.
This is a very expensive show and it deserves Netflix !
I'm telling you rn, it in fact is not expensive lol and the episode count & season format is a good indicator of that. SBS is a smart network, they won't spend too much on production when the show's a makjang with its own guaranteed audience. People called The Penthouse expensive and half of the show was shot on 5 sets, cheap green screen and has ancient level effects.
I really wonder if the drama will be able to create the Penthouse hype & viewership. A lot of people have a soft spot for crazy makjangs they can laugh at. The creators delivered whole lot of cringe and absurdity with Penthouse and it worked. This seems to be more story-driven with a kind of cool plot? Really hard to guess how it'll perform.
Great chemistry, cute leads, but very poorly written antagonists that feel unnecessary and annoying. There's only so long you can keep the viewers engaged just because the leads are adorable. Plot-wise, it's a whole lot of nothing. Very expected ratings and definitely made for selling rights abroad for the True beauty-type audience.
same thing with at a distance spring is greenI absolutely hate it when dramas do this
Not really? At a distance, spring is green just didn't confirm the sexuality of the characters or put them in a relationship (ML's best friend and brother). The best friend however is shown to have no feelings for the 2 girls in the show and refuses them both in the end. It was airing on KBS too, so like, that's the most you'll get and is not a similar comparison really.
Mask Girl is one of those "crazy" (genuinely) amazing shows that you can't put in a defined genre. I appreciate we have OTT players like Netflix that give full freedom to production and the end product is one good show after another. I loved how innovative the format was and yep, the promo material from posters to teasers was very creative and beautiful, something we don't get in most k-dramas.
Underwhelming trailer compared to the teaser. I had high expectations until I realised these were 30-year-olds playing high school students. Stupidly executed.
School 2021 was such a trainwreck lol, they were basically shooting the episodes literally as they were being released, i would understand if someone doesn't come back to work after that. the rush was visible in the quality of writing too.
