Now let's hope Choi Yihyun is better in this than she was in School 2021. I don't feel like she's a bad actress but she did much better in All of Us are Dead than in the former.
enjoyed it, cute and fluffy. reveal was good even though the process was annoying and affected the second half majorly. now minhyun has time to get some more exp/classes because my man was 2d all through the show.
mhm... another comedy/romcom on Netflix inter. I wish it was more diverse, thankfully most of Netflix originals…
because these are the only pulling in numbers to justify licensing them unfortunately. with their own productions they can experiment but with licensing deals, not really
I get that it's a comedy drama but are we really going with this poster?
I'm honestly very critical of k-drama posters lol but this one is not THAT bad, it has this retro fusion vibe and isn't that terribly edited. plus they're consistent with this airt style, even the title card that comes after the episode has same vibe.
I definitely think Minhyun just couldn't carry the character all the way through... His delivery felt monotonous and boring after first few episodes. Yun Jion on the other hand had a good performance which completely overshadowed the ML especially in the recent episodes. clear example of there being layers in acting vs typical "2d good boy" portrayal.
on the other hand, this was one of the worst list of side characters we've gotten in a while.
I'm happy there's more queen recognition in K-dramas but I really hope they're not typecasting Yun Jion... this is our good man's second time playing a queer character and I'm very happy he's open to it, but I also hope they'll consider him not just for queer characters going forward.
the process to the reveal was certainly tiring but like it was certainly worth it and I could have never guessed the reason lol, it is a kdrama after all.
