The show really found its tone with episode 3, good to see. and ofc, disclaimer to viewers, please (obviously) leave your brain aside while watching this lol, she's basically a kryptonian and physics don't exist in this show.

yeah I can see what you mean but still feel like there wasn’t a need. mainstream ones don’t really delve right into the relationship of these characters in the kdrama… “Mine” & Run On ended with characters accepting who they are pretty well. “Love in Contract” gay character had a proper arc and storyline but of course, not a clear cut couple in the end.

Uh… I’m not a crazy fan of the genre but I have watched a decent amount. Semantic Error, To My Star, Bon Apetit are some of the great little dramas even with their low budget. But low budget also has an extent lol you shouldn’t just put out stuff for the sake of putting it out. And in k-dramas, things are slowly changing, 2021 being the big change where we got multiple lgbtq characters in mainstream shows one after the other. Mine, The road: tragedy of one, homecha , run on, etc.

lol ngl clearly a lot of people don’t like one week per episode but me being used to American tv show releases from the cw era (not from the US, I just liked the superhero stuff at one point & the usual cheesy cw shit) when we had like 24 episodes a season & one episode a week with multiple breaks in between 😭 I honestly don’t mind this because catching up to 2 episodes can get a little hard for me but for one it’s not hard. nevertheless had the same but yeah 10 epis not 14.

It’s less about them and more about the industry. Pretty faces shouldn’t be forcefully paired up with actors or actresses who have very a clear range and quality difference. Or they can simply take their acting classes faithfully lol. I still believe song kang did great in sweet home but god forbid you have to see him act in romance dramas.

Same! I can’t stand his acting especially when he’s paired against much more talented actresses than him but he definitely has top tier visuals.

I really wasn’t but it barely looks like a drama to begin with… I don’t see a need for this, we need more, quality work especially in this genre rather than a possible low effort cash grab (I have nothing against these idols, blaming the industry not the player).

I really like the set design… not usual for k-dramas to have these. also, I wish it was in 4K at least! also the main ost is fun for one time but rather unbearable after that

Also please watch this after setting aside your brain... like obviously. Story flow and pacing could have been a little better though but good climax for the pilot.

Damn they spent money on the first epi! CGI was also damn decent for a network k-drama. But yeah since this was the first episode, i doubt the VFX will have nearly the same quality starting next week :(

Love when K-dramas come up with boring ass posters one after the other 😭 How hard is it to spend on concept and art... Please learn from shows like Mask Girl.

nope 😭 not one bit of that building was real… it was literally just 2 sets

the visuals really took me back to 2010, as expected from the makers & sbs 😭 still more bearable than the cgi penthouse building

redundant and repetitive after the 10-episode mark, as usual for k-dramas. and still some wonder why less episode count is better than filling 16 70-minute slots on network demand.

Hyunwook is getting pretty good roles for his age... nice for him, he is delivering with his performances.
