If they’re trying to make me like the FL, idk, I don’t think it’s working. The actress feels a little awkward portraying the character too. I don’t really feel the connection to be rooting for her? Is that just me?
Also, oh god, the romance between her and Hwal is just not giving. The chemistry is non-existent too. I wish they remained closer to the plot and don’t force a “budding couple” on us, I’m not enjoying that aspect at all.
Yes, WOWOW production value is certainly decent. It’s a pay channel so makes sense… but if if I have to pinpoint there was this very controversial and problematic TV Tokyo limited series too which had genuinely too-good production for a J-drama. I forgot the name…
I just finished the episode 5 and it's going round in circles hope it will move forward.
Which is why I want K-dramas to give up on the 16-episode format if you don't have the content to make up for it. I'm enjoying the show tbh, pacing isn't disappointing as such but does feel slower than it should be at times with repeated scenes.
I feel so sad when dramas like this one have low rating and then you have dramas like ''what's wrong with secretary…
They do go well. Blame JTBC for being a bitch and producing problematic content, not many of us are fan. Not to mention, Mon-Tues timeslot in general doesn't do well after high-rated weekend dramas.
16 episodes?! hopefully 30 min for each episode then. I don't want drag. Also, the trailer was odd, I hope it is actually funny. The lack of Kang Daniel in the trailer is telling, should we not expect good acting from him? After all he's a rookie, when will they stop giving idol-actors main roles?
Also, oh god, the romance between her and Hwal is just not giving. The chemistry is non-existent too. I wish they remained closer to the plot and don’t force a “budding couple” on us, I’m not enjoying that aspect at all.
