One thing this drama improved is the 'love triangle' between Yuan, Hu and Cheng, or more specifically Yuan's character which is whitewashed. She is made more conflicted and easier to empathize here than in the novel where she's more of an arrogant bitter b!tch , and the understanding between Yuan and Cheng is good.

It somehow made them too good for Hu Fei, bwahaha.

There were comments from Chinese side that this drama instilled Ren Yingying into her 😂

I hope he has a fight scene too.

I don't have any strong feeling for any version of Xie Xun, but I like 2019 Yang Xiao and Zhao Min, if only they didn't make her a crybaby in the last 10 episodes grrr

2019 Heavenly Sword I think the most enjoyable was the middle part starting from 6 sects ganging up on Ming sect until they rescued the 6 sects from the temple, I love the Wuji+Ming sect brotherhood and Zhao Min at this time, everything fell apart afterwards

I also like childhood and teenage Wuji's scenes(with Wudang uncles and sending YBH to YX)

The thing is this adaptation is criticised badly for the slow motion, although I don't have much problme with it

Yes in the novel the secret is in the hairpin MRF gave her, and I think she did FU on Tian about the treasure, but this stupid scriptwriter deleted all the treasure related plot to white-wash Tian, now this new Nan Lan has turn to be a weak selfish woman
