In conclusion, the hero was left alone - his crush, sworn sister, uncle/potential shifu, childhood friend all left him and only he is left to support the twins, the widow and uncle's daughter
Meanwhile, hero's dad(and mom) reunited with their best friend, with a lovely poison girl tagging along to join them up there ๐ (a certain sect leader wants to join the crowd but got ignored and fell into hell instead)
Tbf in this episode Nan Lan is good, I don't dislike her. She's smart enough to deceive Tian and I think she knows that the moment she stepped in to save Miao, she's risking certain death for her, Miao, and her daughter.
The flashback is symbolic, it's like the Nan Lan that Miao fell in love with in the snow has come back.
The funny thing is how are they going to make Tian's martial arts upgrade suddenly to outmatch Hu Fei? Through…
Hahaha I lost interest in that drama after I read Wong Jing were adding so many r*pe scenes that were not in the novel ๐คฎHe even make Hu Fei and Cheng Lingsu sleep with each other(????).
The gods know what I want and delivered. Watching MRF and HF beat wholesale ass is what I am here for ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
This drama does not disappoint in terms of its martial arts choreography, the choreographers and action directors deserves a standing ovation and so are the actors and acconpanying soundtrack team, but this height was brought down by other issues, will put in review later.

Patrick Tam version of Tian upgrade was the most ridiculous, I think he got two powerful swords on his hands by chance or something. Some people call the drama 'Legend of Tian Guinong' LOL
I just watch a trailer for the last two episodesโฆ Ziyi becomes the nun and fights him ?Does he die at the end…
Hu Fei won't die, not in the book not in the drama
The sequel novel was written first so novel version his OP has always been Ruolan, their age difference around 11 or 12 years. In the prequel novel he loves Ziyi but they don't have a fate since she's obliged to be a nun, and Cheng who died for him is only a sister in his heart.
HF, CLS and YZY are supposed to work together there. Here they are working independently bc HF is too reckless…
LOL she might have her own agenda for the martial arts community wellbeing, but as of now she's just an annoying master who pulls a Miejue Shitai vs Zhiruo method against Ziyi ๐
He looks so hot doing the killing spree tonight episode 37, so brutal, reminded me the last time I drooled when…
Yeah agree awesome fight scene, Miao look like a messenger from hell on fire swiping all the bad guys (have to ignore some medical logic perspective ๐)
And yeah I love Lu Yang's Brotherhood of Blades too, why aren't they making badass wuxia movies like this anymore.
Episode 37 and 38 are great wuxia choreography, awesome fights all around from Miao family escape(Miao Renfeng is so hot) to the World leader's gathering. This drama doesn't disappoint from wuxia perspective. Besides that some corrupt officials are also so cute and smart haha.
I heard its bittersweet ending for cheng lingsu... there are previews for final episode... she and ML went back…
Yeah Miao is crashing the Heroes Gathering so we can expect him to fight with/for Hu Fei. This episode(39) will also be the conclusion for the Hu-Miao-Tian bloody entanglement.
Yeah Hu Fei wants to live a quiet life with Cheng in the poison valley โค๏ธhowever fate has other agenda and I think those weird poison Gollum is what made her limited time runs out faster ๐ก๐ก....

The script could be better though ๐
