I have never seen his full length series but Guo Jingming's web movies has always had great visuals and aesthetics, so the great textures of the posters are not shocking. it's just his storytelling that's inconsistent depending on the script.

What a waste of money and energy of the production team if this drama will never see the light, maybe they did went bankrupt 😂 Was it because they waited for TV schedule? Side Story Of Fox Volant might have learned from their situation and directly registered as a "web drama" and look how fast it came out, although the sad theme and low power sword based martial arts makes Tencent not promoting it all(not enough commercial value), but heard reputation overseas is not bad and it went to TVB and Korea TV LOL

Keeping this to binge later. The publicity trailers look bombastic and glad to see no romances in this setting. I'm fully expecting a badass martial arts adventure yeah!

I'm impressed with the screenwriter too, I hope screenwriter Wang Xiong Cheng receives some due recognition, he indeed can write human like characters in all his dramas so far including this one.
