Douban rating has dropped from 7.5 to 7.3 after episode 16 to 19 aired. Personal opinion, but I don't like these episodes too so I understand these raters XD

Now even the main storyline is overshadowed by these unnecessarily angsty betrayal plot. In fact, imho the script was really good and fresh while they were in the city and regressed when they come to the Dragon valley.

I agree. The script is getting worse and worse.

Count me in. Omg why does this drama keep wanting to kill cute creatures XD..first the elves parents then now their cute children, who will protect my heart!

I'm different here, I was happy with the earlier episodes since it feels different than classic angsty Xianxia and the two leads are level headed smartass who control their emotions well. Previously, everything was well communicated between the two, no lengthy misunderstandings and they work well as a pair. Of course a preview is just a preview, so let's verdict after tonight's event ^_^

I haven't read the novel, but some reviews said in the novel, Tian Yao has this stance that he never wants to take the heart scale from Yan Hui, but it was Yan Hui who willingly took out the heart scale by herself and give to Tian Yao. Imo I like this self courageous setting better and it fit more with their characters from the earlier episodes. It feel like two wuxia heroic characters in a Xianxia world.

I feel the drama start to slowly enter a different territory and subtly started to modify some characters behavior ever since they left the city to the sword and dragon valley arc.

It's always the sweetest one that will be taken away first 😭

So horrible..and all this so they can add a conflict between YH and TY and a love triangle which is not there in the novel isn't it?

I also don't like that we still end up with a triangle love..it's too tropey, not fresh anymore. I thought BXS is just there for his own mission and not a love interest, was I too early?

I don't know how to say it, but I don't like how the screenwriter is moving the plot based on the previews for episode 16.

I feel like she's purposefully create a situation where the character of male lead is degraded so that she can create drama between YH and TY so BXS can step in, everywhere out there many viewers are scolding the dragon and I understand them because I also like the spunky Yan Hui more than Tian Yao haha

Actually Zhou Ye doesn't have a good reputation in acting among the masses even after WOH, she's sadly most famous among Chinese audience for her exaggerated acting in a war drama/movie few years ago, the clip keep circulating in many social medias, it was her acting and demeanor in Hu Xin that changed many people's impression of her 😂

He has a long way to go as an actor, but I like his attitude towards this character, he has good interpretation of the role and sounds like he truly love the character

I have a soft spot for Hou Minghao after watching Back From The Brink, I hope he can do well here

Also came across a gif of the actor for Si Kong Chang Feng practicing his martial arts move with a glaive(?) and boy looks like has martial arts or at least wushu dance foundation, he was good
