SIgh..human are the evil ones, especially Su Ying.. not the dragon male lead or those monsters that they treat like slaves..

Hou Minghao is growing on me, I used to pass him up as just another pretty boy, but although his acting has ample room for improvements so far I found him suitable and fine as the male lead here ^^

I heard Bai Xiaosheng is not in the novel? But I think this character is good and enjoyable ^^

? There's no bad intention here, if you're talking about Tian Yao, he just want to get his body parts back. He might have *injured* her as part of the process, but its not gonna kill her and he was open about it later. Damn I love this straight up communication.

The only bad intentions I see now as of three episodes that I watched are from the Taoists group to the monsters/spirits LOL

I think I saw them explode under her attacks after they persisted to stay and hold on to the scales? That's why I concluded that they died...Or maybe my eyes got it wrong, haha I'm happier if they escaped!

It's quite underrated, not having much promotion, both leads are not popular actors, and while being a romance, the beginning parts are not all about sadomachochistic heavenly love. It might not sit well with mainstream xianxia lovers haha.

The monsters and CGI style remind me of the movie Monster Hunt

I love those little cute elves with sunflower on their heads, it broke my heart to see them killed by Su Ying while trying to protect the dragon >_<..I can't believe I can feel great emotions for some badly done cheap CGI

I'm still watching and I like the story. It's fresh to start with a Xianxia that revolves around their life with normal human beings and monsters instead of heavenly or devil realms, and the monsters they met are cute despite the silly CGI haha. Both leads are clever and have no unnecessary misunderstandings, they have a good partnership so far. This part of monsters/spirits and humans(and funny cheap CGI) remind me of Monster Hunt somehow. I also like that there is a looming main conflict between spirit/monsters and Taoists above all the cute and heartwarming scenes so far. I can get why many fans of other Xianxias may not find this drama interesting, it doesn't put much emphasis on love yet, its a slow burn process. Enjoying the adventure and the monsters so far, I hope it doesn't go downhill since there are 40 episodes huh...

They look like CGI from the 90's but too cute they look and sound like CJ7, look they grow flowers on their heads too! I'm dying from cuteness overload... is this a xianxia or a children's show? 😂 I'm not complaining I liked the first episode and will continue

I want to bash the low budget CGI cartoonish creatures/spirits but I also find them cute strangely, so how? 🤣 Its low budget but so engaging, I agree about the interesting part of spirit-human thing, it's rare to see in current xianxia.

I really like Yan Hui's personality as of the first episode, what a fresh breath of air.

Just watched first episode, the special effects CGI are from 30 years ago hahaha, but ironically the scene where the cute little cartoon CGI creatures protecting the scales were both cute, funny and sad at the same time, how cruel 😢

The story is simple and clothes are mediocre, but I'll keep watching because Yan Hui(Zhou Ye) is an endearing character and both leads are refreshing. I find this drama cute.

Looking forward for all the no-cgi-effect wuxia fight scenes, the last time I had enjoyed some real wuxia fights might be last year's Fox Volant

Not to be taken too seriously.. But it's an interesting and funny short drama satirizing the production team LoL..the ML is the investor and producer so he has the dominance over the whole production including director and screenwriter, making the drama becomes haywire and illogical because he keeps changing the script hahaha

Yeap this schedule is very good, we will get 20 episodes in a row of 8 days and the whole drama will over in less than 3 weeks, how awesome

No fear the FL will be there to save her beloved weak kitten hahaha
