I don't read the novel but from the style of this drama, the duo is increasing their powers step by step so by the final showdown with ultimate boss villain I think they might be at their full stat. Of course this is just my deduction based on the plot so far haha. Maybe novel readers can give some pointers.

It's good for me, although the story is not explosive or dog blooded as of the more popular Xianxia dramas previously, it builds up step by step where the protagonists make their progress in their mission and relationship as time goes by and I like that it feel like an ensemble cast although the focus in our male and female leads, all characters have their adorable points(even if the villain is crazy love brain and cruel she's so strong and formidable that you'll love to hate her), the spirits are adorable too including the weird looking ones.

Indeed, there are so many K-dramas in Netflix because Netflix is investing heavily in producting many of the K-dramas now......
