OMO. Ep 13 So much was revealed to MY, poor maiden. She confronts well and I was sooooo happy MB told her what…
At least the GP could have washed it before delivering it to him. And why deliver it to the CP at all? He should have cleaned it and kept it himself. If someone saw it the GP could say his mom gave it to him to open an envelope or peel fruit or something.

Title Missing Crown Prince Spoiler
Honestly, I want the QD, GI and Left minister dead and MY free to leave the palace at the end. I think she knows…
Who could know or alert the guards since it was only the three of them (prince, physician, FL) at the time of the incident? She was speechless with horror and impulsively put herself between them to save the prince (not that her father would stab her). After this, the prince reasoned with him, took the weapon and chose to conceal it nd not make any fuss about the whole happening. So who would or should alert the gards, according to you?.

Have you watched "Misaeng" aka "Incomplete life"? That's another one I adored. With Lee Sangmin, should I say more? And a very young Im Siwan who is killing the role.

Dropping this just after watching the first 20 mins of ep 1. It's so slow and boring for me
I usually give a grace of 1 whole episode at least, more often two. (Although I admit there have been some Chinese dramas of which I couldn't even finish the 1st one)

It's perfectly okay, we don't all have to agree on everything.

I am a Viki volunteer, and I was part of the team for this project, as English Editor. (I also was moderator of the Italian team). Every episode took more than 5 hours to edit.

There are some plot holes and things that defy logic, but otherwise I'm enjoying the refreshing dynamics of the royal family (king, queen, two sons) through the strain and pressure put on them by third people. I am also enjoying a lot the romance between the queen dowager and the royal physician. It's believable and poignant, very beautiful - although they are both flawed characters who did a lot of selfish and wrong things. The two actors are magnificent. I wish I could say the same for the "main leads" who are not really main leads: both about their characterization and their acting.

Watch Life starring Cho Seung Woo instead of this joke drama! Life has a better script:https://kisskh.at/26974-life
I loved "Life". It gave me the hardest time as I was English editor and it was a very difficult script, but it was an excellent drama with stellar acting by all (except maybe the "main-lead-who-wasn't-really-a-main-lead).
But this doesn't stop me from enjoying this one.

I don't mind at all. The two leads' romance is insipid. This one is juicy, is passionate, is tragic. And yes, they are flawed characters, multi-faceted and interesting, interpreted by two excellent actors. So I'm all for this.

The son was NOT her lover's. Didn't you watch episode 12?

36:24I am reminded of the day I met you again after ten years, when I became a royal physician.
36:30It was the happiest and saddest day of my life, like today.
36:38It was the day I lost Grand Prince Gwang Chang.

Of course, we could assume that they had conceived the son before she married the king. But we are also told that this, tonight, is their very first night together, eagerly waited for 20 years.
So no, it was a romantic affair so far, not a sexual one, and they didn't have a son together.

I'll never understand how an excellent period drama like "Night Flower" can only have 12 episodes but this one,…
What is confusing to you about the plot? Everyone's goals and the motivation for them are stated clearly again and again.

release the damn ost... I can't wait anymore. when are we getting that 😭😭
Three of them have been released so far. The last one being Sigh.
The days we loved, the days we hurt,
The days we sometimes exchanged harsh words,
The days that blurred within the mist,
Tickling my heart like a spring breeze.
In the breath that only you whisper to me,
I close my eyes again and take a deep breath.

Suddenly, you come to mind,
Your breath makes me breathe,
Enabling me to fly anywhere.
Into my frozen heart,
Breathe life into it with your breath and mine.

On unusually long nights, under the brightening moon,
I quietly pause and let out a deep sigh.
The days shattered by the icy wind,
Turn into spring rain, gently patting my back.
In the breath that only you blow upon me,
Only then can I breathe the same breath again.

Suddenly, you come to mind,
Your breath makes me breathe,
Enabling me to fly anywhere.
Into my frozen heart,
Breathe life into it with your breath.

There is no longer a need for fear,
"If we share a gaze and sigh* together,
(he first said ""exhale"", but I told him it's not romantic and then he changed it to ""sigh"""
I fill this breath with my love for you,
And send it off on a tender breeze.

With all your strength, you breathe life into me,
Your breath gives me life,
Allowing me to stand up no matter what.
Into my parched heart,
Breathe your warm breath.

Ep 2: why is the FL asking the team leader to reject the ML? Shake my head
Because she knows that his dreams of making it big in that world could easily be crushed, and it's not as easy as it seems.
Also, who resigns from his job BEFORE being sure he has another one? That was silly. He could have waited for the results, it was a matter of a couple of days.

So far the main focus of the show is the politics of education - there's little romance and the leads have only…
Not true. Remember the first scene, where the female lead trains another teacher, and scolds her for suggesting a list of books to read to her students? And tells her that all that is important is to know how to answer exam questions? And, if those books are not relevant to the questions, the parents will protest that she wasted the students' time?
Remember the scene in the café, where she describes the realities of being a hagwon teacher to the ML? Yes, she wants to discourage him, but it's all facts.

In reality, hagwons have to follow very closely the curriculum of the schools and what is asked in tests. They have zero liberty to improvise. So what you learn there are exactly the same things. The difference is that if the parents are not happy with it, they will take their kids elsewhere, so they are, if anything, even more slave to the parents than the public school is. The teachers have to be on top of their game to convince the parents to leave their kids there, so they put on more effort, in order not to lose their job. A government-assigned teacher can be good or bad or lazy without suffering so many consequences.
I was raised in Greece, we have the same hagwon system (we call it "frontistirion") and yes, it's a mirror of the failure of public education.
Sometimes the same teachers are in the school and in the tuition center. They don't explain well during the morning class, to make the students pay for the tuition center or for private lessons with the teacher in the afternoon. This is the sad truth.

That said, in every system, in every establishment, there will be idealistic teachers who love their job and want the best for their students, and there will be others who don't care. This depends on the person's character and morals.

Αντίθετα, το Dare to Love you μετά από δύο επεισόδια το άφησα, δεν βλεπότανε.

I’m sorry, but I honestly hope you are wrong because I’d be sad if this drama turned out like SITR! 😱😂I…
I dropped SITR like a hot potato after episode 13, then watched the lacklustre finale, which is the last 5 minutes of ep.16. I was all the more furious because I had loved the drama till then.
One Spring Night was definitely better.

Kinda Melancholia vibes
Not really. Here he is a confident adult, and she is a confident - if jaded - adult. In Melancholia they were both very innocent to the point of being naive.

I know most writers of dramas are women (don't know about this one, though). So why oh WHY they have to write…
I didn't know it from the very start - I mean, you don't know how much the cartoonish thing will be. I always give a drama a chance, by watching two episodes. Sometimes more. But for this one, two were enough.

I know most writers of dramas are women (don't know about this one, though). So why oh WHY they have to write…
You're right, sometimes I've noticed that past evil deeds get pardoned too easily. However, it's usually the male lead who acts like a heartless jerk in the beginning of the drama but then we discover that he's a softie inside and he just acts that way because of some childhood trauma or has a rare illness etc.
That is also such an over-used trope. Every time I see it I think "Come on! Not AGAIN!"
Generally I don't like it when from episode 1 I know what is going to happen. It's writing "by numbers", very formulaic.
And also.... How many times can a female trip and fall in a matter of days? In all my life (and it's been more than six decades), I may have tripped and fallen down... two or three times? And there was no one to catch me either. But then I don't drink, so it was only because of a detached sole of the shoe, a broken heel or a faulty pavement.
