Im on episode 4 and I don't hate it, is it a cinematic masterpiece? No. Is it predictable? Yeah-- but its not horrible. My favorite part so far is sehun and jihun's friendship that transcends the division of the candidates. And sehun and jeonghui, while some of the purposeful comedy goes over my head, their bickering is the best.
Only think I hate about it is how obvious it is sanghyeon is the bad guy, its kinda annoying how the drama tries make it seem like its not clear as day but wtv. But yeah maybe I dont mind it so far cuz i didnt start the show with high expectations. I kinda saw the mostly rookie/young cast and figured its probably just a quick watch.
the story got so horrible when the ex came in. this could have been a really cute show of just a struggling restaurant grounding itself in an unlikely neighborhood.
so far what hit me the most was heewan meeting hongsuk and talking about ramwoo. yes the scenes between ramwoo and heewan are sad but when heewan speaks with hongsuk we see how raw the pain of a loved one leaving is. hongsuk even as a friend spent just as many years mourning ramwoo as heewan did. i kept tearing upppp. i wonder if theyll show heewan and taekyung reuniting though.
im so surprised the front 2 reviews are so negative. i remember loving the drama when it came out. i still thnk it one of the best dramas phs has been in
Although... the lin yuan and guyu arc kinda was lacking. Maybe because the ml and fl had a lot of development…
I can see that, but overall I felt it was a little forced. I really liked lin yuan and how she would literally drop everything to help her friend so I was disappointed with her ending I guess. Guyu isnt horrible imo but he definitely isnt on the same wavelength as lin yuan to me. Overall though i dont have huge complaints for the story tho even when it comes to their screentimee
Usually dont like cdramas that are modern day (well ig this is futuristic) but this was so fun. I think some people…
Although... the lin yuan and guyu arc kinda was lacking. Maybe because the ml and fl had a lot of development but the secondary leads felt really random/surface level. When the pregnancy was announced i felt nothing and kinda skipped to get to the wedding already lol. The characters were sweet as friends to the main leads but... as a relationship i skipped a lot
Usually dont like cdramas that are modern day (well ig this is futuristic) but this was so fun. I think some people are taking it a little too seriously- yes her messing with people in different faces is bad. But it shows how its really just a mistake that snowballs out of her control. Its a lot more fun watching it going along with the comedy, every episode manages to make something new out of the scenario. The writer really had so many good ideas for it.
ok mya its a lot less awkward now that she's aware they're both adults. butt, i find them funny as a bantering duo- dunno if im sold on romance yet @~@
This casting feels a little amiss apart from cha woo min... but omg im so happy that spirit fingers is getting a drama release and its been so long, ill take anything ðŸ˜
i have 0 expectations when it comes to netflix season two's... BUT i loved weak hero and i've been sooo pumped for a sequel. but omg i'm gonna miss the boxer guy from season 1... siggggghhhhh truly a loss, they should've just written him into season 2, idk.
on the surface i liked this, but at the same time... the villain wasn't really villaining. which is so sad bc cha woo min was a great antagonist in the night has come
I disagree this is not worse gl drama. Think that’s issue. You only focus on gl. Honestly the main focus is…
Wah- i'm not mad about anything. Just disappointed. I love psychological dramas but this didn't hit for me. And shock value in a hs drama is exploitative if not explored at least a little in my opinion. "Minor does drug" - ok, so what? It was the main issue for majority of the drama, every character was entangled in something drug related. And yet even that storyline was left unresolved except the guy got beat up a little i guess. As i mentioned to someone else, maybe its my fault for going in with too high of an expectation or comparison... that being said @@ maybe I shouldn't be fueling an account that was made just an hour ago. But ye, just my two cents 🫡
We will be hated but I strongly agree with you. It's just so messy, honestly. But I'm not gonna rate it.I watched…
yeah, i expect plot or story from everything i see. i was also drawn to it for the main leads, and saw so many rave reviews so had higher expectations going into it than i should've probably. ig im just more disappointed because i thought this would give me the same joy as a pyramid game did - since both are female hs mystery/psychological with gl element. i think i would've liked the drama more if there were less misunderstandings between the main leads i think.

i don't think its my issue, but rather the pr team or whoever in charge of marketing, they pushed this first as a gl and second as a mystery/psychological drama. the selling point was the queer element. but even that aside, the mystery/psychological portion was lacking. instead of fleshing out the message of pressure on young students, the script relied on shock value of substance abuse and sexualization of minors to make an attempt at a story. but yeah, i don't think this is the worse gl drama, i just think it's very low on the scale as a drama in general. definitely not mad if people like the drama, i'm sure i like shows others hate lol, people are entitled to their own opinion- i'm just surprised about the amount of rave reviews for this drama and wanted to express my opinion on a forum that allowed for that.
i did not think i'd like this... but ughh... its so fun to have seo kang joon back like thisss. i feel lie im watching an early kdrama again, i love it. the team is definitely the highlight for me tho, im so glad they're staying for the rest of the drama. i was worried they were just like an ep.1 guest cast.
I'm not feeling the romance in this oneðŸ˜i don't see any chemistry between them
i get you- butttt, im thinking its because so far theyre still framing them as student/teacher so its a little weird... im hoping when things are cleared the romance will romance more but here's too hopingg
