hey so if you're able to read, my comment specifies that i dislike the use of the ai to create scenes in the drama. as in the director chose to lazily generate a few minutes of filler video instead of hiring actors or just creatively conveying the story in another way.

also, yes, i do think the teen kdrama is sponsored by ai. kdramas go out of their way to omit branding from their shows if its not a luxury brand, the fact that episodes clearly show use of ai means it is sponsored.

i don't hate ai, i just think its lazy and pathetic to generate a part of a drama shittily instead of finding another way to convey the same storybeat. next time you dish out a comment, use both your brain and eyes, ty.

i get the character using ai ig, but to lazily using ai to convey her backstory bc the either didn't want to hire anymore actors to play younger counterparts or bc they couldn't figure out another cost effective and creative way to tell that part of the story is pathetic imo - but yeah, i def think this web series is sponsored by chatgpt at least :[ pity cuz from face value this is a fun set up for a romcom

Don't think I'll watch s2 though... heard that the main cast is more of a supporting role in s2 and I don't feel like getting to know more of these students if all their storybeats are going to be half-baked @@;;;

It's a fun watch but the groundwork is so loose. You have to suspend a ton of disbelief to watch the show and have fun. Following the initial trio was much more fun then what the story divolves into, especially as it becomes a generic "chosen one" plotline with Pang. Also... why was this actually filmed on a potato. This is only my second Thai drama or so, but like... Why is the only vibrant thing the damn product placement lmao.

kind of disgusted a show about comp sci-ish majors actively used ai in the drama. the reasoning/joke was garbage and those few minutes of generated video were equally as shitty. genuinely never been as offput from a drama as this without cosidering extreme cases.

i read spirit fingers completely while it was coming out- lowkey scared off watching this and havingmy good memories of the webtoon ruined if the show is bad. for ppl that have watched majority of it and have read the webtoon how does it compare?

i kinda didnt mind the scene but did think it was like way too early and way too sudden. felt like fanservice for the sake of fanservice. that being said, i didnt get fluffy from the drama at all especially with her judging couples outside while they were all like on top of each other lol.

I love how all the characters that pop up end up being interwoven, makes the town feel even smaller and the mystery feel more connected. Really hoping the ending is going to land since the pacing has felt a little slow since the first two episodes.

also... the whole point of the face card was to compete... the face... so where tf was the joker. like don't pmo. they literally were stuck in a building maze akin to the one in s1 in the very first game. be so so so seriousss

that kind of makes sense, it made sense that arisu was strong in the first game and made sense for his character/personality, but the zombie game felt like a chishiya game. especially with arisu holding the zombie card from the start, that just read like a chishiya move (minus all that running).

bro ryuji literally killed a lady already. like a girl that looked up to him as a mentor. and i'm supposed to feel sorry for him???? bc he wants to know about the afterlife??? it was so stupid, like i'm supposed to be happy he didnt shoot usagi??? get out... also hinting at ryuji starting to like usagi was double weird bc it makes it seem like he only didn't kill her or only saved her bc he started to romantically like her. and in that case, how is he much different from niragi??? who by the way,,, shouldnt have been in the last episode idc. after repeatedly sexually harrassing/assaulting usagi, i'm supposed to feel bad that he had a rough upbringing. in case its not clear, ppl with difficult lives dont always resort to abusing women.

i liked the zombie game and rei, and im glad arisu was still ragingly arisu- but as others have pointed out they took usagi's character and stomped on it. i also feel like ryuji's character was given too much benefit of the doubt (explained in spoiler reply). none of the winning characters felt as strong as the winning characters before purely because their backstories were shoved down our throats in the last game instead of built up. i liked tetsu and mr.yakuza the most in terms of the new players apart from rei.

games were fine, but none of them really beat the ones in s2 completely. nothing was really answered either... about the world, how it functions- because remember, some ppl are assigned to be gamemakers and such. none of that was considered this time at all.
