Random and not to hijack this thread, but I know Gong Jun did a shout-out to Joseph Zeng and Liu Yuning for Heroes. Do you/Anyone know if they're just friends or did any dramas together (I don't recall they've done anything together?) Joseph and Liu Yuning obviously did UN and Heroes together so I get their connection, and Liu Yuning sang WOH theme, so I get his kinda connection to Gong Jun. But not seeing Gong Jun's connection to Joseph Zeng? Maybe just friends in general? (I know they hung out at one of the past Louis Vuitton events, guess I didn't know they were friends.)

Check that video, I think it gives a nice quick summary of the story towards the end (w/spoilers on ending though). The novel has 2 different (unofficial) english translators so I tried reading it a couple years back, but both translations were kinda clunky (I felt the same way reading them as you probably do with the summary here, lol), and not fully translated yet, so I gave up hoping to check back in someday. Excited for the drama though, I look forward to the overall storyline even if the english translations didn't work out for me personally!

Totally agree with you! I also found him a bit annoying in Unforgettable Love too. His character in here is soooo much better, with a better character development/backstory!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Lu Ting Xiao (Li Jiu Lin) is the ML. Yes, FL does meet Fang Xian Xun first, but he's actually SL (I liked that just because she met him first, doesn't mean he's automatically the lead though, a nice twist).

To be honest, I looooove both ML and SML and I think they both shine equally- I wish she could have them both!

Netflix has Epi 7 as "Available March 21 (so Monday). I heard about it too, but not sure how the special episode will go...?

Yeah, Netflix only really shows the short summary of the next 1 or 2 episodes, otherwise nothing much until it airs sometimes. As of today, they have Epi 7 summary, which says: "Tae-moo plays the part of Ha-ri's smitten boyfriend in front of her friends, much to the chagrin of wary Lee Min-woo and a jealous Go Yoo-ra." The rest are just broadcast dates. Hope that helps!

Zhang Yu Jian, and yes he's been in a lot of dramas too. He's probably most well known as the ML in 'Le Coup de Foudre,' and also for being the real life hubby of his FL from 'Le Coup de Foudre' (Janice Wu Qian). (They announced earlier this year (?) they got married and have already have a little girl together-it was a slight scandal at the time, but their careers seem to be back on track again these days.)

Well, the "reveal" finally occurred in Epi 18 and was soooooo anticlimactic. I might drop this as that was such a letdown and the story is feeling a bit draggy now. Maybe I'll check back later once it ends.
I felt the premise was interesting in the beginning, but the ML misled/manipulated the FL for way too long with his real/online personas and the second love interests are annoyingly dense (the actress (Fei Fei) who likes ML acts like a 2 year old with her tantrums, the guy (Ming Hao) who likes FL keeps throwing himself at her, even though she's already clearly told him multiple times she isn't interested. He obviously does not respect her choices.). And the second couples' (twins) love stories really haven't gone anywhere yet. In fact, I almost feel her friend (Xiao Yu) has spent more screen time chatting/hanging out with Ming Hao than her own love interest(s) at this point... maybe they should just get together, lol.  Such a frustrating path this drama decided to go down. I'll still watch the leads in other dramas, but this drama was quite disappointing so far :(

Yes, he plays twins.
The older, serious twin w/glasses is Ouyang Yin Fan and based on the opening/closing themesongs, he'll be paired with his lab assistant, Jing Jing.
The younger, playboy twin is Ouyang Yi Fan, and he's currently chasing FL's bestie, Guan Xiao Yu, but she's semi testing out a potential relationship with Geng Pan Pan. So there's a love triangle at the moment.

Are you referring to the guy who confessed to FL? That guy is different, his name was Wang Tao.
Pan Pan never liked the FL, he's always been interested in Xiao Yu.
Pan Pan did show up in Epi 1, but he's the guy who saw Xiao Yu while she was stuck climbing over the wall and she asked him for a ladder/help getting down. We do find out he met her earlier in a bar and that's when he started to like her (same time as when Yi Fan first saw her too since he was also in the same bar). But yeah, I hope he doesn't go crazy later.

But I don't see a problem since they are technically 2 different characters so he's not "dating" 2 girls? (even if it's the same actor playing both twins). And Xiao Yu is aware he's a set of twins now so it's just like any other twins in dramaland having their own love lines?

So far, I'm kinda liking Xiao Yu with her friend Pan Pan over Yi Fan though. I'm not sure how they'll spin the story as I believe her end game is Yi Fan. But I'm hoping they don't turn Pan Pan into a psycho or evil/annoying character just for the sake of making Yi Fan look better to us. Halfway into the drama already, but Yi Fan still needs some growing up.

For anyone who had read the novel, can someone spoil me with if there's a reason why only the FL can make the ML have feelings/senses? I'm curious if that ever gets explained later on or if there some secret connection/past not shown yet.

Note: I'm only on Epi 3 so if this is explained in later episodes, I'm not there yet but will get there :)

Just playing it by ear, but the voices sound like:
Zhang Jie for ML
Qiao Shi Yu for FL

Both have dubbed for tons of c-dramas leads, so that might be why she sounds familiar to you. Specifically, some examples:
* Bai Fengjiu & Donghua Dijun (Eternal Love of Dream, Eternal Love)
* Yu Sifeng & Chu Xuanji (Love & Redemption)

However, if I'm hearing them wrong, hoping someone feels free to correct me.

Was anyone else bothered by FL being in a coma for 10 freaking years! Omg, thats sooooooo long, why??? And then for the ML to leave her in the middle of nowhere for however many of those years just cause he was wallowing in self-pity and didn't want to be a burden to her whenever she got up. (I mean, it showed the seasons changing so he hung around for a couple years probably, but it's not clear how many years or when he left). He sacrificed so much to save her, why didn't he just wait for her to wake up or confirm she was actually awake/alive and well before he left? It's not like he had anything else important to attend to in all those years either- he had no real job anymore, no friends, no family? Grrrr :)

And then ML being the ferryman on her FIRST boat ride to look for him just seemed a little too convenient (yes, they'll probably say it's fate and all but still... too easy in my opinion).
And her threatening to marry any old guy if he didn't want to be with her was kinda icky, lol.

Overall, I'm super glad it had a happy ending and I still love the ML/FL, their chemistry and kisses, and I'd rewatch it again just for their scenes, but the overall drama/story had tons of plot holes and the ending felt rushed that everything literally "fell" into place too conveniently.

Plus, all those random side characters falling for other side characters was just pointless overall, nothing came or was ever developed from those storylines (like Hong Yu's love for Lian Qi, or the assassin dude's unrealistic love for SFL based on their one and only SINGLE childhood interaction). I did however enjoy the tragic lovestory with Cao Qing and San Yue Mei, I wish Cao Qing didn't end up alone and that their story hadn't ended so early. :(

Well, the end of his marriage isn't explained in detail... but SFL's evil brother was charged with treason and killed (by ML). SFL was guilty by association so she was forced to be a nun and dragged away. I'm assuming that ended their marriage.

ML then threw a wedding for him and FL (she was in a coma). She woke up years later and convinced him to get back together (cause he ran off after giving up all his inner strength to save her & his hair turned white, so he didn't want to be a burden to her). They go off and live happily ever after in a small cottage and still run their pleasure boat business. Happy ending!

No, sadly he doesn't get out of the wedding. :( He tried to make it a marriage "in name only" and had the SFL sign a contract saying he was only going through with the wedding in exchange for Cao Qing's release, and their wedding would get annulled. But the SFL refused to accept the terms after the wedding. However, he ran off on his wedding night to find FL so nothing happened in terms of consummation.

Later, when he was back-- he only pretended to get along with the SFL so he could gain her evil brother's trust and take them down.

At least the drama showed enough that he only loved FL. But ML marrying someone other than FL is a trope I hate, hate, hate in drama land.

Episode 11, around the 15 minute mark :). And yep, @Bsbmanie57 is correct, it was just Ah Fan's dream. (I love that the ML could totally tell she was dreaming about marrying him though!)
