We all know english titles for cdramas can be odd at times. If you were to give LBFD a new english title what…
I felt like the current title was a bit generic, although it grew on me now. I like the direct Chinese translation: Cang Lan Jue (Parting/Separation of Cang & Orchid) but unless you watched the drama, a random person might be confused about: what is "Cang?" since that part comes from DFQC's name.

My suggestions:
* Parting of Dongfang Qingcang & Orchid
* Legend of Dongfang Qingcang
* Dongfang Qingcang (yes, just his name is awesome enough)
* My Lord, Moon Supreme
* Fight Against the World For You
* My Lovely Fairy
* My Lovely Devil (or My Lovely Demon)
* The Sun Rises For You (because of XLH's love for sunshine/sunrise)
* The Heart Awakens For You
* Emotionally Yours (because DFQC got his emotions back because of XLH)
* Dreaming of You (for DFQC's dream of their 500 year marriage)
* Lost Without You/Waiting for You
* Everything is Fate, but not Love
* You Among Thousands of Orchids
* Under the Moonlight (lots of moonlit nights in LBFAD)
* Under the Sunlight (lots of sunlit days too!)

Um, I could probably go on and on, but they get cheesier and cheesier so I better stop here 😂

oh my god although xunfeng & dfqc reunited…i have a bad feeling abt xunfeng that he will betray. i rlly hope…
Are you talking about at a certain point in the drama or after the end?

If you are not at the end yet, I can see why you'd think that. Xunfeng's loyalties do waver a bit towards his own biases and motivation.

But if you've made it to the end, I think it quite clear that he's all in, learned from his mistakes and has absolutely no reason to betray his brother (he even gets to lead his tribe for 500+ years and is just waiting to hand the throne back to DFQC)! I'm glad they gave him some growth and kept him loyal.

Does anyone know where to look up online, the photo of the author who wrote the novel, Cang Lan Jue ?Didn't come…
You can find her picture in the cast list here on mdl. If you expand the cast list above, she's listed with a pic under "Writer (Book/Manga)."

For other pics, try googling her pen name in Chinese: 九鹭非香 (I saw a couple other pics of her promoting other books)

Well... they were married for 500 years in his dreams. I'm gonna take a leap of faith and assume between all that…
Right? XLH had 2 fake/almost complete weddings, yet neither one was w/DFQC! What's one more wedding, they shoulda just thrown in a 3rd and REAL wedding for us. DFQC promised us the grandest wedding in the Three Realms after all. They must have lost all our wedding invites in the mail cause we never did get to see that wedding! 😭

I wished the writers could have saved Chi Di the first God of War. She really deserved better and I would rather…
Totally agree, they did her dirty. She was righteous and did so much for Shuiyuntian. But the second she went crazy through no fault of her own, Immortal Emperor orders her executed!

She deserved better than what Rong Hao gave her, and I felt his remorse came too late, too little and even then he was just remorseful about losing/killing her to let her go. Plus, she initially died in infamy with all the glory deserving of a God of War, whereas Rong Hao reduced her to a sad, sad person who died at the hands of her disciple in a murder suicide, boo!

They should have given Chidi more screen time and less on Jieli/Danyin. I'm not sure what I was supposed to get from making Jieli the twin of Danyin and her semi-growing relationship her father? I thought maybe that would play into her finding her childhood/self and finally feel deserving enough to accept Shangque's love. She technically did end up with Shangque raising orphans but I think she would have done that anyway without the twin/lost Daddy storyline.

I just realised this is among rare C-drama that have a lot of kisses scene but no bed scene/intimate scene. DFCQ…
Well... they were married for 500 years in his dreams. I'm gonna take a leap of faith and assume between all that domestic bliss and cuddling underneath the tree that lovemaking had to have happened all over dreamland version Arbiter Hall, lol. Just offscreen of course 😂

It woulda been nice to have something more given how much time they spent in XLH's bedroom in both Arbiter Hall and her room at Moon Palace. But all the intense handholding, loving gazes, and hot kisses tided me over so I'm OK with what they gave us too.

Who is gonna rewatch when it come out on Neflix. Raise your hands!
Me, me, me. I'll rewatch and recruit more people to love it too.

I'm gonna try to convince my Dad to watch it once it hits Netflix. He likes c-dramas now and then, but he's not tech savvy, so he would never find dramas on his own, lol. If I secretly/purposely play LBFAD in the living room while he's around and he gets hooked, he knows how to use Netflix and will keep going on his own. 😂

Gonna try to recruit my brother too. Years after TMOPB came out, he apparently watched it on Netflix and loved it. And I didn't even know he liked or watched c-dramas, lol. LBFAD is so up there with TMOPB, I gotta convince him to try it!

Still need to thank the drama production that they didn't include an annoying and clingy second female lead who…
Yes, I totally agree! I love that Chang Heng was so nice and real and not annoying or evil second male lead (SML)! C'mon, who is even that annoying or evil in real life anyways like in other dramas? Lol

It reminds me of something Nicholas Sparks mentioned when he wrote "The Notebook." I can't remember the exact lines, but something like he had to give the heroine (Allie) a nice, decent male second lead because if the second lead was unlikeable or turns evil, that would reflect badly on the heroine (i.e. If she choose male lead (ML) only because he was the only real option given to her or that ML won by default since SML wasn't good enough, or that an evil second lead makes both leads look bad since they're not presented as smart enough to not fall for SL's tricks... etc). When both love interests are equal, it reflects beautifully on the choices the heroine has to make. Like in this case, XLH could have (later) chosen Chang Heng, her marriage accepted and blessed by all, knowing he loved her and would make her happy, but instead she choose DFQC because he's her soul mate, the one she wants to be with against all odds, the one she'd wait forever for, and that's her choice, not because she's out of options, or that Chang Heng wasn't good enough for her. Unfortunately, they just didn't synch up at the right time or place and thus they missed out. But she truly choose DFQC in every way possible ❤️❤️❤️

In the Special Clip, the producer said in this world where love plays the center role, there is no deceit or deceiving.…
Oh wow, I love that sentiment from the producer!

Omg how can the kiss in episode 35 be sooooo tasty so desperate soo good soo making me cry my heart out, giving…
It's the kiss we never expected yet can never live without now that we've seen it! Soooo good ❤️❤️❤️

It caught me so off guard the way he poofed into that scene, kissed her so beautifully into responding to his kiss, and then grandly poofed out, demon fire wings and all! But the emotions it evoked, knowing DFCQ planned for that to be like his forever parting kiss to XLH for the rest of time and eternity, omg it was sooo perfect! That's the kind of kiss I'd remember forever and ever too if that was me.
Well I guess all the kisses were damn good, but Epi 35 was definitely next level good! 💋

DFQC reading the epilogue with video edit! For those who need more closure about the happy ending!https://twitter.com/xiaotoumings/status/1564998517642657793?s=21&t=QT9kP6ZxDC9D5_CqOIBBhw
Love it! I feel a bit closer to getting some closure since the drama ending was soooo short 😢

One of my favorite lines from DFQC: “…but in all the three realms, I can’t find another timid, crybaby Orchid…
One of my favorite lines was DFQC saying:

In this world, people hate me, fear me, rely on me and even admire me. She's the only one who loves me. 😭😭😭

That and the rest of what he said at the Epi 35 bridge scene like how there's never ever going to be anyone else but her for him, not in this life or any other lifetimes *swoon*

Single female ordinary grass who is a glutton, who likes to have fun and sleep in. Is timid, afraid of the dark…
DFQC: * Swipes right * 😂😂😂

Memory Loss is not DFQC's favorite river - denial is.
Yep, denial, sacrifice and pain. DFQC seems to live at the crossroads of those 3 rivers at this point in time 😢

Arbiter Hall Take 12?
Good thing it's a BEAUTIFUL set at the rate they keep re-using it! 😂 It looked pretty magical with all the lights and candles in Siming's version though I gotta admit.

who's changyuan and what happened to XLH's master again?
From what's been told in the drama only (I never read her novel):
Chang Yuan is Siming/XLH's master's husband. Both were banned from the heavenly realm and sent to some type of void as punishment (for Siming releasing Chang Yuan (sounds like he was guilty of some wrong doing) and both falling in love/marrying).

This whole time everyone including XLH believes her master is just off roaming the mortal world because there's no chance her master will be pardoned and return to the heavens and so they didn't want XLH to be sad or lose hope that she'd never see her master again. I feel they did XLH dirty in this, but at least we know what happened to Siming. There seems to be a deep love/devotion between XLH and her master (like a parent/child) so glad to know her master would never have just randomly left our innocent sweet XLH like that for 1000 years by her own free choice!

1) Episode 31 - DFCQ says that he wiped out the Xishan clan but it was Rong Hao who actually finished them off…
Here's my opinion:
1. I don't think it's a plot hole. At that point in the drama, his goal was to make her NOT love him anymore, so he wants XLH to believe he did all those evil things, including playing into the myth that he wiped out her clan/killed her parents. I think his convo with SQ shows that he expected when she's told he wiped out her clan that she will hate him (and he wants that).
So, I didn't take it as an acknowledgement that he actually did it, but that he acknowledged it because it plays into the narrative he wants to set at the time for XLH.

2. We can see how much he's sacrificed and done for XLH. But at that end of the day, I'm not sure if DFQC feels he's done enough to deserve her goodness/sweetness? From his perspective, he has always caused her pain (even when he doesn't want to, like he doesn't want her to go into the cave but she does anyway, he didn't want her harmed during the war, but she did get hurt anyways). So he feels he's always hurt her all along. It kind of reminds me of the scene from their mortal life when at the end of her date with Xiao Run, she was recalling her & DFQC's memories and smiled to herself. But because she was around Xiao Run, DFCQ mistook that her smile was about Xiao Run/Chang Heng. He says why would she smile for him when he's always caused her pain. Poor boy can't see the goodness in himself. He doesn't see himself the same way XLH or we see him. Must be a sucker for pain 😢

One thing I learned from C-drama they shoot the drama one year before aired unlike k-drama they shoot jut few…
Yeah, they film so far in advance and dramas air so randomly that the downside is the leads have moved onto other projects and or are too busy sometimes to promote. Like Esther is in the middle of filming her other drama that she didn't get to make the earlier promotion rounds/lives with the boys. Just think of how much better those would have been if she was at all the lives too in person! Same for Zhang Linghe not being able to make all the promo rounds due to his current filming schedule 😢

Or dramas wait soo long, they get shelved or look/feel outdated when they finally drop.

If you don't recognize that voice immediately, then have you even watched enough c-dramas the past 2-3 years, lol? Just kidding. 🤣

Xiao Lan Hua takes the initiative to kiss? Is this just a dream of DFQC. I wonder what scene is this?https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4806812836037676
Omg, sooooo hot. Thanks for sharing!

I love how they're both so into that kiss! They look like they're truly, madly, deeply in love that it gives me butterflies (even if it's a dream or not). And no I'm not shipping them in real life or anything. I'm just saying, within the context of the drama, with every action, every touch, every glance, every kiss, I'm 100% sold on DFQC+XLH =true love! That's why I'm loving this drama so much! ❤️❤️❤️
