yeah i am more hopeful because its a Disney drama and not amazon prime.
but also like you said, it being only 8 episode is concerning me since there are more than 150 chapters but lets see I hope they just don’t cut out important plot point.
Honestly as long as they get the characters right (especially the MC) and the vibe and ending i am fine with them changing other tiny details to work out for a drama.

I mean we really didn't see much details but like the vibe seems good so far and really we just saw the crime scenes and him writing with blood in his crime scenes which is accurate. I only read till the latest translated chapter (they are slow) but read spoilers about the ending. I expected some police academy scenes or MC in uniform but there was none (probably in the next trailer)

but yeah I would recommend waiting till you watch the drama before the webtoon so that you can enjoy it without spoiler but also even if it wasn't as good as the webtoon you would enjoy it still (I am hopeful it will be good tho)

I mean we did get a teaser/trailer finally today T_T even a poster

now how am i supposed to wait a month and a half T_T I don't have that much patience

ikr??? his character made me so sad in the last episode. honestly my applaud to the actor he did a great job.
i also loved that they decided to make ren the one to help her not sagara or the rest of the students like i thought.
i gotta say i was sick of hamaoka tho😂 the last few episodes were like everything hamaoka

Hoshizaki basically was born and felt different probably some kind of personality disorder like anti personality and he noticed this at some point and spent the rest of his life trying to like observe people and the atmosphere to act normal and this made him get used to it and view the world like a movie with him detached from the scene but when Kujo came, things began to change but at the end he noticed that even though everything changed and his classmates changed he still remained the same which brought back the feeling of being different heavily.
I honestly felt bad for him? like he didn't ask to be born like this and didn't necessarily want to do anything bad and was just sick of the situation and being different and hated the thought of himself staying like this forever so he decided to kill Kujo and then die immediately after.
I gotta say tho, even if they are not really in the first world, it feels weird that he just killed her in the first timeline but really he got no punishment and Kujo was overly understanding ,because honestly no matter the reason, killing her and then dying is just so effed up and he was so creepy overall about it like when she caught him at first and he was all smiley and amused about her finding out like he didn't just try to kill her.

I enjoyed Okudaira's performance so much today!
overall it was a fun drama to watch weekly (I feel like its better weekly honestly so I am glad I watched it before it was completed

like if I was Tori and even if I knew he probably wouldn't do it again and I find out that he did it for me even if in a very twisted and weird way, I just wouldn't be able to stay friends with that person and literally see him every day for hours solving crimes together!

what a plot twist for real! yeaah seemed to me too like they hinting to romantic feelings from Hisami toward Tori, he was even trying to say "I, toward you..." but then Tori stopped him before he slashed Tori's neck and was wondering if its just my imagination but I then see your comment so it wasn't just me. Although I gotta say Hisame's reason was dumb af and poor Tori! he really is a good dude tho for not telling on him.
I hope we can get a season 2
