Can someone please explain to me Mueys decisions in episode 12-13. I understand that she wants to go study abroad, I also understand that she feels Thien doesn't know her well enough, but why does she want to divorce him!? He clearly loves her and wants to properly marry her. He's told her this and she loves him back, so why can't they stay married, her go study, whilst giving him a chance to get to know her! She keeps on crying and saying he's the only man she'll ever love and so she's leaving him, but that makes zero sense!!!! It's winding me up. And then when he does everything she's been asking for (and he does it for understandable reasons) she runs after him crying! HES DOING WHAT YOUVE BEEN MOANING ABOUT FOR THE PAST 2 EPISODES. Rant over - I just have really loved Mueys character until now but now she's making nonsensical choices. Have I missed something and it actually makes total sense - I really want someone to explain it to me!!!
If I had more time and there weren't so many great dramas out right now I'd definitely be finishing this, but at the moment I think I'm gonna have to drop it - it's the drama I'm the least excited about. Ji Hyun Woo finally really impressed me again after his long drought since Queen In Hyuns man though, which is exciting!
My feelings for this drama are so up and down i think my review will have to be of each episode rather the the drama as a whole! I started watching the first episode at 10am this morning and it's now 3am - the breaks I've had from watching it added all together would be about an hour. I've truly binged this - I'm gonna try to finish it tomorrow! Only 6 more episodes to go!!!
I'm going through a cheesy Thai drama mood at the moment. This isn't a great drama, but it's the type of plot I'm in the mood for right now. I really shouldn't be wasting my time with this when I have 10 currently airing kdramas I'm supposed to be watching, but it's all I want to watch at the moment.
I really like this, but why are these episodes so short?
yeah SK isn't ready to put a ton of money into BLs yet - these short ones are just testing to see how well they do and how much of a market there is for them in South Korea and internationally.
I see you ventured into the novel first after all. It's not often I come across a commentator who hasn't watched…
I definitely will share my thoughts. I'm so excited to see where the story goes. And although I've barely seen anything I'm still so shocked by how good the casting seems. Over the years I've been a fan of so many books that have tv/film adaptations and I don't think I've ever seen casting as close to what I'd imagine whilst reading.
I know! It was a couple moments of weakness. I really have no self control when it comes to these characters and this story! Haha. At least if I do watch edits I always end up fast forwarding through them and I tend watch the more comedic ones - so that I won't get as many plot spoilers. I've not been spoiled anything yet luckily!
I'm now on chapter 68 of the book and it's quickly becoming one of my favourite books. Im actually obsessed with it! Also every now and then I watch little fan edits of the drama and it seems like certain moments are directly pulled from the book. I know they'll both end up being quite different, but I can't wait for those little moments. Also from the edits I've seen the casting is just PERFECT! The actors seem to both entirely encapsulate everything I imagine whilst reading about these characters.
For my rating I took away a star from MODC because of a certain characters death and I gave this drama an extra star for reversing that certain characters death
I know he's playing the worst, but I'm so excited to see Kim Gun Woo in another drama - he was fantastic and so layered in Catch the Ghost, he was surprisingly my favourite part of that drama.
Really didn't think I'd get the whole Park Bo Gum thing, but he's so charming. Also from the little I've seen a really great actor. Great - another actor I have to watch all the work of!
I don't completely understand why I love this drama so much after just 2 episodes, but I'm sold. I just love the characters and their relationships to one another. I need episode 3 now!
This didn't work for me personally. I watched it directly after I finished the prequel series. They have jarringly different tones and their storylines aren't cohesive. If I'd seen the film first I may have enjoyed it more though. I think the series is more my type of thing is all.
