Im sure Xiao Zhan would prefer none of his fans did any sacrifices. Your own well being should come first and…
Another zealous fan who knows the thoughts of his idol. Congratulations on your paranormal skills.

Being a Xiao Zhan fan is the easiest thing in the world, you must be doing it wrong. Maybe you should just stop…
Everyone is a fan in the way and to the extent they want to be. I didn't know there was a "Code of Indiscriminate Deification" created somewhere that everyone has to adhere to. I thought Xiao Zhan fans were bound by the four rules announced in July 2020 and the three views. But we're already in February 2022, a lot could have changed, just. I just got back from Weibo XZ Studio and there was nothing about uncritical worship there. And I didn't see a nomination for you to have the right to lecture anyone on behalf of XZ Studio.
I would end here, but FYI learn to read because this drama is bad for me, not in general.
And if you don't understand the joke, don't ridicule yourself by making it a tragedy.
Since my account is getting on your nerves, I suggest you block it. I will block yours and we will all be happy.
On The Youth Memories Feb 8, 2022
For me personally, this will be a very bad drama. No criminal investigation, no police chase, no court hearing to keep me in suspense.... Just ordinary, normal life of ordinary, normal people. Not even any spaceship hovering in Earth's orbit :(
Being a Xiao Zhan fan requires a lot of sacrifices.
On The Autumn Ballad Feb 8, 2022
So far, comparing this drama with other costume c-dramas, it's pretty cool. It has a few clichés but so far I'm having a good time so currently being in episode eleven I'm giving a high 9. Probably my rating will go down as there's more and more negative stuff but so far I recommend it :)
On Joy of Life Season 2 Feb 8, 2022
Since Li Qin and Xiao Zhan just entered the set of a new drama, either they won't appear in JoL2, or their scenes will be few like in season 1 and they'll record them in the meantime, or they'll enter the set of JoL2 after finishing Where Dreams Begin, since that set is supposed to take 90 days, and JoL's two seasons will definitely take longer to shoot. As long as they start filming this drama at all because I've already lost hope. I mean JoL2 and 3

If there are any latecomers who don't know, Xiao Zhan is now officially in the cast of Where Dreams Begin. He is partnered by Li Chin. I've seen the drama's official Weibo as well as XZ Studio's, so this is information for sure.

Title The Longest Promise Spoiler
Are you really asking if the main character dies or not? Because that's how I read your question and I'm uncomfortable…
Thank you for the clarification. It will certainly put a few people following this topic at ease.
In fact, the creators of both series were free to do as they pleased, even without any logical connection to the book, to each other's series, or just to any logic. As far as I've seen costume c-dramas (and I've seen a few) it's impossible to find any sense in them, because all the inconvenient issues are just left out. So neither I nor anyone else on this forum knows exactly what the plot will be, what the ending will be, or what the relationships between the characters in both dramas will be. I for one don't expect any sense. I just know that certain forum etiquette requires that people be warned about spoilers and just throwing something in and hiding it as a spoiler is not a decent thing to do especially before a drama premieres when there may not be any real spoilers yet. I wanted to help out a fellow forum member because I know a little bit about this topic and thought I might help someone in need, meanwhile I ran into a minefield. So my problem is not whether the ending will be happy or sad, whether the mermaids live a thousand years and behave like retarded children or not, my problem is that someone spoiled my day and the fun of the whole series, because he did not warn that he is planting a bomb.
With all due respect to everyone participating or wanting to participate in this discussion, I'm withdrawing from the topic. Forgive me if I don't respond again. I will avoid this forum with a wide arc, which will not be a loss for anyone anyway. I just don't want any more anti-tank mines.

Can they add romance too Please .....
Can they not add it, please.
More than 95% of all dramas have romance added. People who don't like romance because they're all just as hopelessly boring have nothing to watch. You have 95% of the market to choose from, I only have 5% and they're usually really boring, moralistic dramas :(
I'm sobbing :(

Are you really asking if the main character dies or not? Because that's how I read your question and I'm uncomfortable…
No, I'm not saying that. I have no idea what kind of ending they're going to do. In my opinion, it won't be a tragedy, but it could be sad, although it depends on what makes someone sad. My point is more that we like it when characters "lived happily ever after". Shi Ying cultivated immortality, so he should live at least a hundred years. If his grave appears in a story that takes place in the next generation, it means that he probably did not even live to be seventy, and I feel sad because of that. He doesn't have to die in the series, heck, the drama can end with a big wedding, it's all the same to me. He can die 20 years after the end of the series, but I know his story won't be "happily ever after".
So a general request to everyone - really think about what and how you write. I'm sure Bezduralov had no bad intentions, but she spoiled my excitement of waiting for the drama. I was annoyed and sad, very sad.

Title The Longest Promise Spoiler
Are you really asking if the main character dies or not? Because that's how I read your question and I'm uncomfortable…
Approximately. Mirror's main character is ZY's adopted son, so since he's about 20 years old, if ZY didn't adopt him being an old woman and assuming she adopted him when he was a baby, that comes out to what 20 years of time.
Of course this is just my guess since the dramas are supposed to be different from the book. They are also supposed to be rather loosely connected to each other. Su Mo is the next generation after ZY and SY and I think SY's younger brother appears in Mirror, so it's definitely not thousands or even hundreds of years, just a difference of just one generation.
Maybe for someone reading about the main characters' graves is ok, but for me it's such a spoiler that I feel like, like that dog from the XZ meme, biting my pillow. So much so that I don't feel like watching this drama anymore because I'll be depressed knowing the tragic ending. For me, a shared grave is not romantic. It's just sad.

Is it true that they showed Shi Ying’s grave in Mirror Twin Cities? If yes, which episode?Disclaimer: it doesn’t…
Are you really asking if the main character dies or not? Because that's how I read your question and I'm uncomfortable and sad about it. Am I now supposed to wait for YGY having somewhere in my subconscious the question if he dies at the end of the series?
Heck, everyone dies at some point, and Mirror is set some 20 years after YGY, so if you're asking if SY's grave appeared there, you're implying that he didn't live happily ever after and really spoiling people's fun. Thank you.
And anyway, you should probably ask this question in the Mirror topic, don't you think?

New info - the hero from Mirror is the adopted son of Zhu Yen, the heroine of YGY. A prince who is a relative…
You're welcome. It just worked out that way :)

What us the relation between this and Mirror: A Tale of Twin Cities ?
New info - the hero from Mirror is the adopted son of Zhu Yen, the heroine of YGY. A prince who is a relative of Shi Ying also appears in Mirror. I've heard that his younger brother, but I can't verify that. The dramas tend to avoid combining the storylines and probably treat the two dramas separately. This makes sense considering that they definitely changed YGY's script quite significantly from the book. Mirror was already shot when they started shooting YGY.

I completely understand your concerns. When I saw the trailer I found that this drama was simply impossible to…
Depends on who. :)
AT I watched with pleasure - there was a lot going on and no idiotic romance catapulting everyone with its melodrama. A matter of taste and interests :) Some prefer manly action, others prefer sighing under a tree.
Just because a drama features my favorite actor doesn't mean I have to accept the entire drama uncritically. If fans are uncritical because of an actor, it won't motivate the creators to produce better quality dramas because anything with that actor will sell. If someone is more of an aesthete, they will pay more attention to the costumes, CGI sets. People with more musical sensitivity will be more sensitive to the OST. People who have psychological interests will pay more attention to the performance and character development, etc. What won't bother one person at all, for another will be a reason to quit the drama.
Now I'm not talking about you, we didn't have clashes, I'm talking in general. There are always people in life and on every forum who don't tolerate if someone shows even a minimum of criticism. All that matters is their opinion, their admiration. My dream, which will never be realized, is that before they write something and start to abuse someone who has a different opinion than theirs, they should think whether they accidentally hurt this person. Maybe one day in schools teachers will start teaching what a civilized expression of an opinion is, that everyone has the right to their own opinion and what the difference is between a criticism of a work and a personal attack.
The only one disappointed is the one who had expectations. If someone was disappointed by the YGY trailer, it was because they expected to see something beautiful and got what they got.
I currently only have one expectation from this drama - good acting from Xiao Zhan and Ren Mi. I expect a lot from them. I don't know the rest of the actors so I hope to be positively surprised.

I think you should only believe things that are releasing by his studio. Thanks!
You have absolutely nothing to worry about. It looks like you have succumbed to some panic when prompted and are seeing what you expect to see. If you start looking at the people around you and the artists, you will see that sometimes they have one eyelid "heavier". This looks like the result of temporary fatigue. Xiao Zhan's eyes are still wonderfully beautiful. Xiao Zhan is nearsighted and wears contact lenses to work, so his conjunctivae occasionally get tired. He only had conjunctivitis while working on the set of The Wolf, so if you see Ji Chong, he actually has red eyes. The rest of the time it's just temporary fatigue, like when we read too long or a cold wind irritates our eyes. Nothing more.

I don't waant to bother anyone here but curiouscat closed and i wanted to ask an xfx on twitter about a melon…
I think the information you want to verify is a mistranslated hot topic from Weibo. There is a scene in AT (spoiler alert!) where GYY fights with another character and gets injured, including in his left eye. Fans were full of praise for Xiao Zhan's acting for a few days, that he played his injury so well that when GYY smiled, he squinted that eye first. I think someone misunderstood and started spreading a ridiculous rumor about the actor being injured.
I, for one, see Xiao Zhan every day, haven't lost any new material, and haven't noticed that he has one eye smaller.
In my opinion, the rumor you wanted to verify is just someone's stupidity and overinterpretation. There are many overzealous fans who will hear one thing and interpret something as something completely different.

the trailer was literally released when the shooting wasnt even done. I m quite hopeful since this is their S+…
For me this woman on A has lost any authority in 2020. If someone provokes by herself, then pretends to be a victim, accuses others of something she does herself and on top of that pretends to know everything best, although she hasn't worked in China for a good 20 years, what kind of authority is she? In addition, she is strongly biased and this came out in several of her statements. And I really hate the fact that she ridicules others while she has nothing to show for herself except for her fanfics.
