so excited for the last 2 episodes!! they are going to be so much fun hehe. i feel like ep37 will be able to wrap up the arc, and we might actually get an entire 40 min in ep38 to see our happy ending. im so impressed by the pacing of this show, im ngl. of course i wish we could've spent some more time in some lifetimes, but overall the pacing for the actual plot is spot on. especially with all the scenes they had to cut, i feel like the writers/everyone else did such an amazing job pulling this off in just 38 eps. like the ending so far does not feel rushed at all to me. again i would've loveddd to spend more time developing lives 4 and 6, and even bits of 2 and 5, but overall phenomenal job done with pacing and storytelling.

i just assumed it's because he got old. as if to show he kept his promise and kept on living after she died. and also to show that even at his old age, he still stayed by her side/grave and never forgot her.

is this any good? been seeing mixed reviews and unsure whether i should start this!
there's some downsides, but i'm addicted to it right now. the acting, styling, and pacing is so far, so good. i think you'd really like it if you have enjoyed other xanxias.
