okay i see why the rating is so low now. it had a really good foundation and some great characters and a LOT of potential. they could have done so much more with this show i feel like. i think the problem was that it was only 6 episodes and they really did as much as they could with these 6 episodes. if it had been 8-10, i feel like they could've really taken their time developing this into something good!
Kdrama pays more attention to female perspective more than male perspective.I saw a lot of kdrama Most of the…
there are a lot of dramas where the main character is a guy! this show (and other kdramas where the woman is the main character) does not oppress men, nor does it spread a misandrist message. i promise you kdramas aren't influencing people to hate or oppress men.
this show was great!! i went into it thinking it would be bad but it was really good. would definitely recommend if you want to watch a light hearted coming of age with a great friend group and a solid plot line!! 8.5/10 for me ⭐️
i think the first half of this show was better than the second half. it was super cute and funny and i had a lot of fun getting to know the characters. the second half was still good i guess, but it became a lot more predictable, because it transitioned right into a typical kdrama. no more making fun of cliches or random funny moments. it was just your run of the mill car crash, proposal under cherry blossom walking path, 1 year time skip, random medical emergency having kdrama. which was slightly disappointing, but it didn't take away from the drama as a whole. it was still a really cute show and i had a lot of fun binging it! AHS is not made for historicals man. LOTRS was the first show i watched with him in it, and it was awful, his acting included. he should stick with modern roles bc he was really good here! i will also defo check out UC for the female lead bc i've become a fan of her acting! overall, i would rate this show 8.5/10! you should watch if you're here for some lighthearted good fun :)
- the drunk hookup scene with SLs was absolutely not okay. This is a serious issue in Korea (I mean it is anywhere)…
you make a good point. i never thought about the drunk hookup scene. the second male lead def should've waited until she wasn't drunk anymore to make sure her consent was given with a sober mind.
Let me share something that my therapist and I talked about today, because I couldn't help myself bringing up…
oh this was a really good point. i understood this on an emotional level while watching the show but it felt more real seeing it written out in words like this.
Just a question purely out of curiosity - What is it about two men getting it on that women find so appealing…
for me personally, that's not the case? i dunno if it's because i'm not attracted to men but i don't enjoy BLs just because it's mlm. like if a show/romance is done right, then i'll enjoy it, whether it's queer or straight.
feeling like i wanna kick myself for starting the show so late, but i'm here now and that's all that matters. i binged 6 episodes yesterday, planning on binging the last 5 today! i don't even have words for this show... it's like i'm extremely jealous of what patpran have, but also, i'm so incredibly happy for them, it's so complicated. ohm and nanon have outdone themselves. the chemistry is like unreal.
dare i say this is objectively the best drama that came out in 2021. i'm literally unable to find a single flaw with it. no plot holes. amazing acting. unforeseeable plot twists. perfect ost. best chemistry. has you on the edge of your seat for the entire 12 hours. it did everything it had to do and more.
i see where you're coming from, but i felt they did enough that it didn't change my opinion on the show much!
