im with you here. it seems like it came out of nowhere and they just shoved it in as a shock factor at the very end so they didn't need to give a thorough explanation.

there is a LOT of gore. i mean bloody dead naked bodies with their ribs and flesh out in the open.

or people were drawn to this show because it reminded them of AIB, and so they came here to give their honest opinion based off that. idk why that makes them a “cult” or “lowlifes”.

yeah idk i think some people's preferences just lean towards jdramas and they enjoy them more, just like yours lean away from them. idk why you seem annoyed about that when mdl is for all sorts of asian shows. it's up to us whether we want to come here and say "oh i had these expectations before starting it and i think i liked the other one more." like that's literally what this site is for. you don't need to agree with us.

ayo i actually thoroughly enjoyed this! it had the worst male lead ever, but i liked all the other characters! i found the games to be very boring at first. like the honey comb one and the marble one: since they were slow and easy games, i didn't feel any sort of thrill. later, the thrill factor really picked up and i ended up really enjoying the last 4-ish episodes. i can't say i loved how it ended though. i'm really salty that gi hun of all people was the only one to survive. someone please bring back the cop, sae byeok, and sang woo please. it was a nice one day binge, lots of gore, lots of thrill. dunno if i will watch season 2 but yee yee.

this was the saddest sort of beautiful. i’ve been looking for a show like this for a while and it hit every last one of my expectations. the chemistry is perfection and the music is the cherry on top of great writing and directing 🌟

like in eps 3-6, what's happened is that she put the ML in a shed in the mountains and then she got punished and put in her own shed and then they spent two episodes on a painting competition. we got a random ass kiss in the middle of all this. the water demon has yet to come back, the princes have done nothing major yet. i just feel that the plot needs to pick up and the romance should've been slower burn.

my point is, all this happened in episode 1/2 and since then, we have had like no plot progression.

i'm not really sure how to feel about this show yet. i'll give it the benefit of the doubt and see if it gets better, but so far i feel that there is no plot yet and the romance is way too rushed.

kwak shi yang should never stop dressing like this and playing characters like this. his role suits him /so/ well.

it's so hard to believe that these two still love each other based on spending one day together 20+ years ago. the kiss was so random and the way he pushed her away afterwards was so unnecessary. the whole scene was really bad writing.

i really enjoyed episode 1 and 2, but 3 and 4 seemed like filler.
