the way i can't find a single negative comment. as it should be honestly. it's been so long since i've watched such a refreshingly new korean romcom. the couple is unmatched. the osts were super cute. all the sides were fleshed out and added value to the plot. i somehow felt that the end was a bit rushed? or not rushed, but just really fast? it was a small thing though. i laughed so so so much watching this show and the leads had me losing my shit every time they even so much as looked at each other. the chemistry was overflowing it was crazy.
i can't even be entirely mad at the ending, though i am sitting in a large pile of tears right now. this show was so good, from beginning to end. despite its super simple plot, i think this is one of the best romances i've watched. it was so real in every way and thanks to the cells, there was never a dull scene. this show had so much personality and i honestly am going to miss the characters a lot. i don't know if i will watch s2 because i currently am way too attached to woomi, but i might be ready to move on next year, who knows? this was definitely one of the best dramas to come out this year!
i can like understand why their romance "development" makes more sense than the two leads, but i can't say i prefer one over the other tbh. they're like both equally as bad.
babe i just have no words. the second half was much better than the first half. i really liked the friendships and whatnot developed through here. but it felt so low budget wtf. i mean the editing, cinematography, dialogue, etc. it was all so cringy. the romance was so forced, i had to skip every time the main couple showed up on screen. i was gonna rate this a 6-6.5, but i somehow ended up enjoying the last 6-8 eps so... 7/10 it is for me. i just wish they had cut out the entirety of the first half and just kept the same energy of eps 9-16.
aww this was simple and predictable, but it was done so well i don't even have complaints. the acting was great, the osts were great. overall vibes were hilarious and heart warming all at once. would definitely recommend for a short and sweet mood picker upper.
righttt? i was straight vibing with this show until that last episode TT
i think it was all a setup for a season 2 but it felt so unsatisfying. it was a very messy and bad cliffhanger of an episode. also rightt? i totally felt that the older brother/black mask dude would've made a great mastermind. they 100% made it the old man just for shock factor and then they just killed him off within minutes of us finding out.
the male lead is sooo unlikable. this man won every game - and i mean /every/ game by pure luck, and now what? he's going to go destroy this obscure little game in the middle of a deserted island? how on earth would he be capable of that??

the plot twist with the old man was so random and unnecessary. and the male lead's sudden change or whatever at the end was random too. i really really didn't like his character so i also hated that he was the only one who survived sigh.
there is a LOT of gore. i mean bloody dead naked bodies with their ribs and flesh out in the open.
yeah it's mostly just lots of blood, gunshots, and stabbing through the whole show but there was an organ trafficking thing going on at the beginning so you get a lot of nasty images there.
Past 4 episodes, this drama is just average. Comedy is extremely bland. They're trying hard to make it look like…
yes i feel you on this. the first few episodes sucked. i had to watch on 2x speed to get to ep6. rn im on ep9 and im finally starting to enjoy the show lol. the comedy and easy banter between the friends is all starting to hit right finally.
they're probably the same people who've also binge watched the show in one day... they're like those bitter Karens…
lol i guess that means the "cult" is only here and nowhere else on mdl. i seriously just think that people are comparing SG to AIB because death games is a unique and niche genre with only a few dramas in it, AIB being the most popular till SG. ofc people want to compare the two when they're the only standards they have. also, the AIB page is filled with SG comments. is it fair for me to say that there is a kdrama cult on here and that they should just stay on their kdrama side and not infiltrate the jdrama side?
