Just another opinion for your consideration. Fall in Love did start off great but it got boring in the later half.

Ahh so there's this cross referencing. No wonder it feels like there's some story behind their random interaction.

Can try My Sunshine. It has the same director. Similar theme with leads meeting in university, got separated and reunited when they are adults. Can be less addictive than this but overall still enjoyable.

Episode 29 is so heart fluttering.. Their interactions kinda give off "back together" vibes. LX knows ZY still into him and not with TXZ. She's very obvious with her emotions. LX definitely has the upper hand in their relationship.

The hiring process in episode 24 got me cracking up so badly. The HR director is hilarious. After taking a look at ZY's resume, I think he said something like "What kind of people are you bringing in for interviews?! One is a gangster, the other is a scammer!"

Yes I agree! He already feel inferior but it worsens the more he interacts with Li Xun. He put in effort to avoid LX but somehow the main leads will connect back to him.. :(

He actually looks like Kris Wu Yi Fan..

He is slowly changing after he met Zhu Yun too. Not as cold as before, and more trusting. So it could go either ways, meet nice ones like ZY or bad ones like Gao

Just completed episode 22.. liking it so far. But in reality, can you imagine meeting someone like Lixun as a passerby in university? He's acting like a jerk to everyone except his love interest.. Disregarding opinions and behaving coldly. I think it does not look as bad only because of the drama effect (i.e genius guy who's really good looking)..

My goodness, this is so addictive. I watched all 21 episodes in a week. There are definitely some plotholes here and there but the pace of story telling, filming methods and chemistry is quite good... This director is also the same director for My Sunshine.. Another drama that I love.. My first time watching a drama of CFY.. he needs more roles like this. I am guessing he is naturally goofy/aloof which helps him to fit this role. Some of his micro expressions/gestures are nicely done I had to rewind to appreciate it again. FL gave a few stunned/black hole stares initially but acting got better as the episodes went past.. both are really good looking too. Cant wait to see how things develop after he got out of jail.

Such a soulless drama.. I had difficulties finishing this. Took me about 5 months of on-and-off watching to complete it.. Writing is generally flat.. with no plot climax or major conflict to resolve so didn't had much motivation to complete it.. some of the parts with the FL family can be quite touching (shedded a few tears) BUT overall still kinda boring..

I think you should not. I'm still at 30 plus episodes, progressing slowly to complete just for the sake of it.. Look at the latest comment by Lyndsn.. I didn't like Suspicious Partner, Hotel Del Luna and A Business Proposal. Slow plot progression and not the best writing

I think this drama has truly ruined it for many of us. Have you tried Story of Yanxi Palace? I think that's the only 1 that is quite ok. Everything else is just meh. NIF's production budget, writing, editing and acting is top notch. Don't think is possible for any other to beat this.. not even those historical ones from Korea..

Please watch other historical dramas on your watchlist before you start this. Once you complete this, the bar is set so high. You will find other dramas badly executed..

Don't be put off by the sypnosis. This is a masterpiece. It will be extremely difficult for other historical dramas to beat this level of intelligent writing and filming.. I am watching another historical drama and just cannot get into it at the thought of the quality of NIF. This drama set the bar so high in all aspects that other dramas pale in comparison..

I am half way through. It is boring.. but too late to drop it. Please don't watch for JCW.. His character inside is so useless and unappealing. He does not give off main character energy. The writing is also flawed in many parts.. i think im gonna fast forward jus to complete this.. And there are too many strange close ups of their faces and choppy editing.. Will drop another comment when I manage to finish this..

Good decision in dropping it. The story is really flat.. I completed it but can't feel any climax or remember any memorable scenes..
