one of the beginning lines she says something like "his mistrust/shallow love (her husband's) was the beginning of all my torture/losing the baby, etc" it all started with how fragile her husband's trust in her was. Non-existent, in other words. The rest of the drama didn't live up to what her stating that promised. Then the writers doubled-down on her husband's shallow trust and made him IMMEDIATELY mistrust her again... and yet she literally acts like that wasn't 1000% the foundation for all the horrors she'd been through. MEH.

as soon as Episode 2 was over, this season was no longer worth watching. Last 2 ep were underwhelming, predictable, and annoying all at the same time. LOVED Season 1. Thought Season two was MEH and this season unfortunately didn't live up to any expectations whatsoever. The ending scene was eye-roll-worthy.

why "scarily" ?

on episode 13 and feeling like I found a gem in this one!

FLASHBACK PROBLEM: the problem with this one isn't that there were flashbacks, it's that even though they were trying to show the flashbacks from the ML & FL's perspectives... it didn't bring anything new/extra/fresh perspective-wise to the plot. The flashbacks from his lense were identical to the flashbacks from her lense... so WHY did they shoot it this way? It didn't add any depth of character, depth of plot, depth of anything except depth aggravation. Very frustrating. The premise and acting had SO much promise.

eeesh. feeling like that led up to a whole lotta nothing -_-

actually I didn't like any of the characters... none of them felt fleshed out or "real" enough to hate/love/root for/etc. I feel like to really enjoy a show... the characters have to make you cry, hate, love, or at least connect with on some level. I didn't feel that way for a single character in this drama. Even the murders felt done and over and moved onto the next plot point before you could feel anything at all about what was going on much less about their connection to the larger plot/game at play.

the big reveal was such a letdown for me... way too obvious who was behind everything from the get go, unfortunately. The ML never really grew on me... actually his whole character felt sort of cookie cutter and 2D. Take him out of the show entirely and the plot wouldn't suffer one iota. His character was redundant.

the ML in this is such a petulant man-child and it is very very hard to like him with the FL and it never gets better. Ick.

wanting to love this but ML irritates me haha hoping he grows on me!!

I'm a big fan of the Thai version (love me some angst/revenge!) but this had nearly NONE of the plot from the Thai version. The show isn't bad but it definitely shouldn't be considered a remake!!

aside from the title and revenge, this has literally 0 similarities to the Thai drama. I hate "remakes" that are not really remakes. -_-

anyone have any RECS for dramas similar to "Hello Monster" and "Love Me if You Dare" with lots of chemistry, thriller/psychological/suspense elements with some romance included as well? Can be detectives, analysts, coroners, etc but the plot has to be GOOD/compelling and the chemistry between actors has to be great. I need something to watch that will MAKE me binge-watch it!

I used to looooove these kinds of plots and couldn't get enough of them but this was well done and yet I was over it before mid-point in the drama. Guess my tastes have changed a bit. But the ML & FL acting is SO SO good and so beautiful together!!

her father playing green tea/humble was NEXT LEVEL. All future green tea chicks can take notes from his performance LOL
