probably already figured this out lol but it does have a little action in it... the ML is a general and there are some small "action" scenes here and there but definitely not a focus or reason to watch 💜 much more "slice of life" with lots of scheming etc

this drama is decent but the subtitles are horrible and the characters are all super shallow... no real depth to them

yesss! I also noticed and loved the costumes in "The Sword and the Brocade" a lot... unique and very pretty!

I know this drama has a few issues... but it has quickly climbed to one of my go-to dramas for rewatching... not ever going to replace the Story of Ming Lan for me, but I love the mature and slow-building relationship between the leads so much!!

TRYING to love this... but how is it so full of action but seems sooo boring to me at the same time? Strange :( Maybe it will get better soon for me 💋💋💋
