This drama wasn't near as bad as all the reviews/comments were saying. It was, however, way too long. The plot and development could have been wrapped up in 10 episodes. I still kind of enjoyed this drama though.
It's hard to watch a drama where you dislike the ML a lot. I honestly wish the FL would have ended up with Akio. He was my favorite character and supported her when she needed it the most. I liked them together a lot.
this drama though. So good, BUT the biggest disappointment for me was the evil sister's "ending". I despise endings like that for such despicable characters.
Have you already watched Ruyi's Love in Palace? It's considered to be the "sequel" to this and I feel like there…
I have. I put that one off for SO long because I read a spoiler and I was right to do so. Don't get me wrong, it was a brilliant drama... but DANG it was hard to watch the FL go through that!
You can explain why you got stuck in episode 11 in a spoiler and we will help you get pass it
I honestly think it is just me. I have no real reason. I've started the drama over twice now and just end up putting it on hold by episode 10 or 11. I'm a HUGE Chinese Historical fan so IDK what the problem is. It MAY be the FL. She's an amazing actress and I love a lot of her dramas, but I kind of don't love love to *watch* her. Sounds so stupid when I say it out loud. HA!
This drama is not only surprisingly super boring but also makes the major mistake of making the ML's sister the main "protagonist" of the show and hinging ALL of the issues and conflicts around her past and supposed mental illness. The ML seems oblivious to everything about the past and his sister. The 2ML seems like an idiot if he is really a psychologist, and all of that drags the plot into complete unrealism. Plus... the sister's whiny toddler voice grates on me so bad I want to stab my eardrums with a fork!
I feel like it is kind of boring. Okay... a lot boring. I love the actors, but I want to bail and I'm only 17 episodes in. (I was bored 6 episodes back) -_- I think I need to stick to historicals when it comes to Chinese dramas!
I was so fearful of him in Princess Wei Young. Here, he is sweet like a cuddly teddy bear :)
He plays the bad guy/despicable characters SOOO well. & his role in Princess Agents + Wei Young nearly ruined me for thinking he could play a "good" guy, but MAN he is killing it here! :)
