My issue is, I know how important it is for a woman to bear children and he goes sterilizing her like this without…
I kind of agree here. Mostly on the point that they have a super open and loving relationship... why couldn't he just TELL her that it needs to be done for her health and future (possible) pregnancies? Why do it so sneakily as to hurt her once she finds out he didn't trust her enough just to have the conversation out right. He's normally so forthright, I kind of find this a flaw in the storytelling and a bit against the character they've painted of him so far. It COULD be argued though that his fear of losing her would have driven him to make such a decision.
so many complaints in the comments already. yikes. hoping this one will be good. I'm loving The Rebel Princess and would love this one to be another enjoyable watch! ^_^
what an ASSHOLE Awu's brother is for dumping that kind of heaviness on her while she's sick and weak from going…
true... I guess I kind of wanted to like/love him because he treated his sister so well and because I figured mayyyybe he wasn't at fault that his wife treated him so coldly (reason to have tons of concubines???), BUT after ALL the scenes once he was imprisoned with his father, I came to loathe him and his patheticness/weakeness. -_-
what an ASSHOLE Awu's brother is for dumping that kind of heaviness on her while she's sick and weak from going through so much. He literally said, if I die, oh well, we say goodbye here/aren't family anymore if you don't convince your husband to save our good-for-nothing father. UGHHHH. I didn't hate him until that very moment. Disgusting weak man-card he just played -_-
this drama was a hot mess for a lot of reasons, but the most glaring being the FL's "character". She was a hardened last-man-standing against an entire army GENERAL who is going back in time to STOP a devastating WAR. And from episode 2 on... she's only a frail little girl who speaks softly, worries about trivial crap, and never does anything outstanding as a LEAD. Nothing outstanding as a GENERAL. Nothing even remotely resembling someone on a MISSION to save the future. She isn't badass. She doesn't fight much. She doesn't scheme at all. She doesn't even come up with ANY real plans of her own. Disappointment is an understatement. & let's not even start on the messy storyline and absolutely incomprehensible time travel element... because this drama just uses it as a ploy and doesn't follow any type of rules of engagement. We have WAY more questions "What happens if..." now that when we even started. The only good thing in this drama was the FL's beauty & the ML's flawless acting. Seriously HATE him in Princess Agents... like wanted him to die a slow and painful death hate, but there is no doubt he's an epic antihero! He's a FABULOUS actor!
Can this be compared to Princess Agents which has became an unforgettable drama, lots are still clamoring for…
these two shows are not even in the same universe. Princess Agents, The Story of Ming Lan, & Rookie Agent Rogue all highlighted Zhao Li Ying's amazing range as an actress and are absolutely unforgettable dramas... this one (sadly) is extremely forgettable :(
on ep24 and to be honest, the only thing keeping me going is the wonderful fight scenes and my girl crush on zhao li ying! The show, to have so much going on, is inexplicably... boring. :-( The romance/chemistry is non-existent and the weird a-few-too-many-seconds pause they have Li Ying do before speaking/acting in every single scene --like she's confused or contemplating something-- is making a weird pacing issue for me and it's very distracting. Super sad about this.
