What was that ending!? I feel like the ending was meant to be artistic but it just left me more confused. So was it all just a dream? If that's the case, man that was one elaborate dream he had on a date in the movie theatre lol. Or did he die on the ship and the last scenes were highlighting one of the best times of his life (kind of like his life flashing before his eyes before death shuts them forever)??

There was something about this short drama that drew me in until I finished it. However, the overall feeling I got was confusion lol. There were times where I thought "ooh I get it now, I follow, I see" but then something would happen or the editing of the scenes would leave me confused again. It was a cycle of confusion, thinking I got it, then confusion all over again lol. I have a burning question though so if you feel like you got it, please enlighten me! I'll post it under this post as it's a spoiler question.

Such a heartwarming series. I adored it much more than I thought I would. This drama really took me by surprise as the setting/time it took place is one I usually avoid watching and the genre isn't high on my interest list either but I absolutely loved it! The relationship between Ah Chun and Fu Pei Mei was amazing and the romance between each respective pair was soothing for me lol. I really enjoyed it.

Wow, I did not expect to cry during this drama but I did. It was very well done - down to earth. I'm usually not too into family dramas but this was amazing! Great slice of life family drama :)

Lol same here. I fast-forwarded a lot by the middle and definitely last few episodes.

This drama seriously has amazing hugging scenes - just the best! It's rare but the hugging scenes speak volumes and it's enough for me where I can feel satisfied even if the kissing scenes are few lol

I was craving something fluffy and easy to watch to take a break from the more intense dramas I've been into lately and this fits the bill so far. I'm only on episode 2 but just had to come here and say how much I appreciate that tiny detail of the FL nodding to give consent for the ML to continue. I really appreciate that extra touch in that scene :)

Just like Chi Nguyen said, I don't think there's any concrete explanation either. However, if you think of time as continuous and intertwined - not just a simple straight line, then what ever you do now dictates the future and every different choice you make branches out and is effected and causes different realities or parallel universes. Sometimes history just repeats itself and sometimes if they have a different perspectives or made slightly different choices, the whole thing can change - like the butterfly effect. I believe that in this drama, the whole time loop, time jumps, is just like the symbolic möbius (moebius) rings the main couple has. Not sure if I made sense to you lol but that's how I come to understand it!

I just finished episode 8 and in this one episode, I see lots of great examples of social distancing LOL

This drama started out as an 8 for me. I honestly enjoyed the first half of this drama a lot but the latter half of this drama was the downfall for me because it failed to get me to care for the ML which also meant that unfortunately, I didn't care for the main couple. I find myself fast-forwarding through almost all the "romantic" scenes between Habaek and So Ah because it either annoyed me or made me roll my eyes or I just was not into it at all. The two main things I took out of this drama were:

1. Demigod is better than all the gods.
2. Gods are petty af.
3. Humans are better than the gods.

Lol if there was a hierarchy of the level of maturity, it be: Demigods, Humans, then last but not least, Gods.

I don't mind this drama actually. Although the following things I'm going to say may not show it but this drama is tolerable, not as bad as some people say. So with that being said, in this drama, I find I am more invested in the character of Shin Hoo Ye more than anyone else in this drama. I just can't seem to understand why the "Gods" are so prejudice against the halfling - to a point that it pissed me off. I'm 4-5 episodes away from finishing, will they ever explain why they're so prejudiced against his kind!? I mean if Habaek and So Ah ends up together, wouldn't there be a possibility of them creating a halfling!? Ugh so frustrating. And there's Biryeom. Very annoying how he keeps provoking Hoo Ye yet we still don't understand why. Like seriously, Hoo Ye is trying to stay good but Biryeom doesn't even try to reason or explain. His "secret" on why he hates Hoo Ye so much better be real good or I'm going to flip a table lol. Seriously feel so bad for Hoo Ye. I couldn't really get into the drama anymore, unless it had scenes with Hoo Ye in it lol. He is the reason I'm going to finish this drama. And curiosity.

So far, the only thing I've taken out from this drama is that Gods are more petty than humans. Oh the irony.

I have never watched a drama with such nice MLs - and yes, I'd consider all 3 choices that the FL had were MLs lol. It's a breath of fresh air and I loved that. I especially LOVED how Yuri decided to go take the exams instead of going to the hospital. Leading up to his decision, I was holding my breath and praying he'd go take the exam as that's what Harumi would have wanted. It would have be super disappointing if he chose to go to the hospital so I was so happy that it played out the way it did! My heart goes out to the cousin lol. I hope he eventually gets his happy ending even though we don't get to see it!

It's honestly my most favourite Korean drama (I've rewatched it 3 times now lol). But again, different people have different interests. I'd suggest you give it a try agin and push through to episode 5. If by episode 5 you still can't click with it, then this drama is not for you.

I liked this drama more than I thought I would. It was more than what I thought it'd be. So glad I didn't skip this like I previously planned to! :)
