A Pinoy-produced film with an erotic touch, it does not deviate from the typical work of director Villafuerte. But he seemed to me to be a little more successful than Tsikboy. That's why my rating is what it is ... 5676
I definitely liked the Korean movie adaptation of this manga, which we have here under the name Antique Bakery (2008), much more than this somewhat "artificial" series for me. What was a plus was the cast, nice people and generally well acted, I liked less the small percentage of the BL component and on top of that, it was strange and completely against my skin that the children were more involved in the story, their disappearances and murders. If you don't want to bother and waste time with the often unnecessarily drawn-out and superimposed scenes of this project, I recommend watching Korea instead.
An excellent adult series from Thailand, time-consuming, full of tension and in which I literally bit all my nails. The director invited some of his favorite actors from the 3 Will Be Free project and there are no more illogicalities, shootings and murders in the story, which I acknowledge with gratitude. No BL, but a thriller, a drama with a gay component, beautiful actors and actresses, from the cream of Thailand. One huge scumbag, surrounded by other scumbags, scumbags and cheaters. Intrigues such as you can hardly imagine, where Mexican or Turkish soap operas or tons of crime drama series on Czech televisions and retired actors, who always solve everything, dig into this story. It had a gradient, gradation and some well-known actors from BL projects (Dan, Tin, Mikey, Fight) or even real gays (Touch-gay friend of Eva's father) can be seen. All the characters are played very well, the main gay couple is Pitch and Matt, and another gay couple of supporting characters - Eva's father and his friend - plays an important role in the intrigue. I didn't expect to be so engrossed in it, I recommend it more to those who are looking for fun, suspense, adult concepts and don't want teenage Thai schoolboys walking the corridors in shorts and school uniforms.
The project is certainly not top-notch, but I was amused, somewhat crazy, funny, light and cute in the way the actors went all out in a certain physical contact, including "hands-on". Actors - nice guys and that girlfriend played fourth fiddle there. And one more interesting thing. The various stories, what about the uncut versions, I have the cuts as well, but they are meringue, cuddling. The series was perhaps the last one before the well-known stricter Chinese regulation, and after it projects with BL and gay themes didn't make much of a cut... what a shame.
A very different BL film from the rest of the production. You can see the hand of director Dolly Dulu, who wrote the story as a play during his studies at university. A bit squeaky at first, before you get used to it, and in addition, one of the squeakers plays the main role (and brilliantly), which doesn't happen often and these characters are usually relegated to secondary roles or ghosts in Pinoy productions. Despite the faith, I felt such truth there, I believed in the characters, it was gentle, sensitive, natural. I only took one point away from the perfection of the story for the fact that towards the end Dominik was forcing Luke to love him instead of Karen. A wonderful experience and I'm already looking forward to the series, which loosely follows the film.
A sensitive medium-length film about the relationship between two young people, bullying and homophobia. Very nicely played. I thought this topic was not so popular anymore, but it is still, and probably rightfully so, hot in Korea. Sad ...
Quite a disappointment compared to the excellent Zero episode. Some handsome actors have joined (Boat, Tee, both girls), but the script is terrible, stretching to a pinch: Baote ............. yes (?) ................. can I ask you something .......... ...... sure .............. and we have two or three minutes of the next part ... A big difference between a couple of erotic. scenes and ballast of many times meaningless chatter. In addition, Daonuea is not much, a whiny victim character, how many times he behaves like a small child, even that lollipop was given to him ... the Praew character would need to be spanked from all sides.
To me, a nice seven-minute film about one of a million possible different romantic stories set in train stations. Everything OK, but all aspects of the evaluation are just average from my point of view.
... that those Koreans always get me in the end. Unfortunately, there was not enough money for this project either, so it was "made" as it is. I appreciate the fact that Koreans take a true piece of history and add a mystical or fairy tale part to it. The story, if there was money and it was developed properly, would be enough for a long and rich series, for example, like the beautiful and cruel Korean historical film Ssang-hwa-jeom, which we also have here on GT. This is similar to Nobleman. Even so, I liked everything very much. The cruelty of the prince's brother, wrongfully usurping the Joseon throne, the gentleness of the "true" prince and the determination of his only protector, as well as the overall conclusion and all three young actors charmed me. Pleasant including nice music and I'll admit it - I too would like to have a copy of that Joseon period painting in my study at home.
I watched with interest the main pair of men - Min Soo (a gay pack protecting himself from society with the help of a lesbian Hyo Jin) and Lee Seok (he seemed the most convincing to me), they played it solidly and so did some other main characters. Playback? We are in Asia after all, so why be surprised! The message filmed by the Koreans ten years ago is obvious and necessary, not only for Asia. Personally, I wonder how some individuals are unable to see the story as the creators presented it through the empty words. It is also a light drama and includes one very unpleasant event. This piece certainly had and still has an impact on the audience, especially in Asia. Comedy or drama? Reality or a dream? Here, a lesbian becomes a lady and a gay man a gentleman!
Such light peeking without any deeper line. I was embarrassed by the last two or three episodes. I didn't really understand New York, I didn't take it in. Ki Jin was the most interesting to me, even though he's a rookie actor, he reminded me of the guys from Color Rush. The story is flawed, much more could have been extracted from it, the processing of the BL folder was for schoolgirls from the first grade.
I can say that this project has, as expected, been included in a narrow set of the best Thai BL projects, as can be seen in the ratings on MDL and especially IMDb. For me, super cuteness dominated, where I was especially convinced by twenty-one-year-old Pran (Nanon) in his first BL role. Of course, he was seconded by Pat (Ohm), but I didn't believe that much anymore, as for example in the series He's Coming To Me or in the movie Dew (we have both here). I felt that Pat's "plays" with each other are only played and rather they are scenes in which thousands of young frogs-teenagers are supposed to fall on their asses. The story was well thought out, but still about two or three parts seemed unnecessary to me and the story didn't move anywhere, and I guessed exactly what the next scene would be, and I didn't enjoy it. I give it a high rating, but with a note like with 1000 Stars by the same director - everything is polished to the maximum "beauty", but proper physical contact between the main actors is done with fake "caressing". The targeted object of this series is probably not an adult gay viewer.
I'm slightly underwhelmed by this movie, not that I want to give a low rating. The creators must have known why they created it this way, but for a long time I had nothing to grasp the picture. It was saved by the likeable actors. Nevertheless, I would probably cut the film into a medium-length or downright short film.
I didn't expect much from the series, but what I got in the form of finishing it just before Christmas can't even be described. Perfect Japanese humor, so adorable, especially by the main character, 19-year-old Michieda Shunsuke (Aoki's magically crazy character), but also by others - Ida, a sporty boy with a deep voice, whom Aoki fell in love with, naively cute Hashimoto, a boy Aida (in the photo in the Pictures folder he is listed under his second character name Hayato). For those who can enjoy the Japanese humor brought to perfection by the BL project (and that doesn't go down well), I recommend the series to them, and it will surely make your festive days more pleasant, because the last episode ends right at Christmas and has an incredible rating on MDL from almost six thousand evaluators 8.4. I do not recommend the series to those who expect kisses and mutual physicality between the actors as soon as possible.
Originally, I thought that at least for the story I would reduce the rating a little, because everyone's behavior towards Hiro was beyond the edge, sometimes worse than a dog, however, I realized that the Japanese like to push "things" to the extreme. It looks simple, but it's not - it was played perfectly and everything else was excellent for me.
For me, the film was definitely not interesting, on the contrary, because of the overall story and its ending, it was embarrassing, shocking, wtf? Little logical, skeletal character development. Other aspects of the evaluation were slightly above average. But you won't change my recommendation that all of this, even if someone can and will manage to get over Japan, despite the girls' Japanese hairstyles with landscapes, that I don't recommend the film.
This subtle BL romance (bromance) between Qing Ming and Bo Ya takes us to a historical period in East Asia, where demons rule, and the whole film is filled with action fantasy and mysticism. But the actual story is very convoluted and sometimes I almost got lost in it. Apparently, it should have been like that because of Onmyoji's design (or to simplify it a little?), anyway, the lowest rating from me for the story out of all the evaluation criteria. Played excellently, convincingly (Mark Chao, Allen Deng), there is a huge potential of actors in China. Fantastic fights, spectacular visuals, great effects and design really impressed me. But the music, it was absolutely the BEST and in the final passages of the film it directly communicates "something" very subtle between the two main characters, only the actors can't express it better because of Chinese regulations. Nice experience.
The first two or three parts have to be skimmed through before we get to know some new faces. In my opinion, many scenes where more knowledgeable characters play are unnecessarily drawn out, and I would easily cut the series a little to give it more flair. Therefore, my rating for the story is "only" 8 points. Chlipák Dr. Bright, who likes bunnies twenty years younger, and boss Pete, who commands the trio Knock, Korn and Cho at work and who would prefer to share it with some other young man every day, start a merry-go-round in which our duo K-K. The series is gradually gaining momentum and mainly focuses on relationships in couples, and the acting, sound-music and processing are at a high level in this project, often with a slightly comedic touch.
The way the character of the younger brother behaved, I found it less likeable at first, and as an older brother I would have slapped him. But I respect the story. Otherwise, everything else was ok, even slightly funny at the end
