The cast was likable, I perceived Yue Yu Zhi-ho, the pissed off son of an even pissed off mother, as an unbalanced character. Everything else was very naive, simple, a "battle" with a fist in the air, a kiss between two artificial figures from a boutique, and the music seemed to me especially in the last parts to be unnecessarily cloudy, sticky, and especially after that it was too much. As if everything was filmed and produced by children from the second grade of elementary school, but thanks for it anyway.

Something else entirely. Three young people figuratively representing three types of biscuits, all wrapped up in a short BL musical. I didn't even mind that the sound gradually started to move slightly with the picture and the subtitles. The idea was perfect, I liked the songs a lot, the boys looked a bit clumsy as actors, but anyone who likes musicals knows that singing is always prioritized at the expense of "body play", which is more figurative than real. The creators even messed with my taste. I probably wouldn't buy the watermelon cookie either, but I would not only buy the chocolate one, but "eat" it right away. And at the end, a little tear in the eye... Distracted and eternally dissatisfied people will not like this project.

In my opinion, it was one of the weakest Korean series I've ever seen, thanks for the Slovak subtitles. Already in the first episode, I wondered if it was going to be some kind of tragicomic farce, when the obnoxious rustler kept appearing unexpectedly from behind the tables and chairs, and then the horrible "thief-gangster" with plasticine shaped ears and the general general dullness made me wonder if I would to look any further. The story didn't do much and often diverted unnecessarily to the secondary characters, the acting was average, recanted, and I didn't feel any juice between the characters, traditional "uncomfortable" fish kisses with bodies standing awkwardly apart and I only watched because of the sympathetic appearance of the main actors.

For me, a very nice visceral Korean short film, which could certainly be translated, but English. the hardsubs were so thin and translucent that I had a problem in many passages, too bad. Maybe another viewer will condemn the piece for the fact that the story is slightly metaphorical to absurd, but are we even able to evaluate what thoughts, ideas, memories or wishes are hidden from the immeasurable depths of the human soul? The actors played it very nicely, I could feel the emotions coming "out" from the inside and the recent past, the slow shots were very tasteful and suited the overall concept. A powerful experience...

By Philippine standards, a very good film, an interesting story set in an even more interesting environment, excellent processing and acting at a high level. Of course, besides the beautiful Abby, I was also interested in Jason (Paolo Gumabao, he also plays in another film here on GT, Lockdown) and Dennis (Vince Rillon, he plays the main role in the seventh story of the mixed puzzle shown here called Unlocked). There was no replay, convulsion, or any of the grinning trances that abound in almost every Pinoy project, and the story didn't detract from the main plot. Very nice, believable.

I had a lot of fun with this Filipino musical, even with how seriously some Asians writing reviews on MDL took it (while the project has a high rating on IMDb). At all, as if this project didn't even come from the Philippines, it's so different ... The musical is primarily about the songs, and only then about the acting, they sang it beautifully and refreshed it with a pleasant sympathetic appearance. Their mothers and then Angel, Ms.Becky and others also added theirs. And in the last quarter of the last part, I grabbed my stomach at the scenes with bananas, stargazing or the speech of the new king in front of a "crowd" of subjects. Yes, the 3rd and 4th parts took a little away from the drama, but that doesn't change the fact that I was refreshed and wasn't looking for any fly in the project.

The short is mainly about Jongin, who is played by the very likeable Yoo Kyung Seon, and what I appreciate most about the Hanyang University story is that it doesn't differentiate between hetero relationships and same-sex relationships and puts them on the same level. What bothered me a little was the frayed camera in many shots, which at least made no sense to me. Overall, however, above average for the message that the film conveys.

A top series and I won't hide anything when I say that I enjoyed watching it episode after episode also because of the wonderful appearance of the actor Park Seo Ham. Although the story was not very innovative in anything, it was overall interesting, even the supporting characters were nice and not annoying as often in other projects, I was only bothered by a small detail in the processing. What I didn't like was the constant half-bakedness of the main couple, even though it was apparently translated correctly. 910109

A pleasant Korean series, where, as is customary among Koreans, the mystical is slightly used, when I was interested in the motif from Buddhism and the reincarnation of souls. In life, two beings who have already met in the past (in this case twice and now for the third time) will meet, and gender does not play such a role here. I really have the impression of this project that although it did not shoot to the top in anything, it was above average in all areas of evaluation, everything was made professionally, nothing offended me. The acting was very solid, pleasant, only the mutual physicality between the main characters was very dietary, I recommend the series, even if it is not a ten for me.

A series that I didn't really like. In fact, I was bored for a while while watching it, as if it was about nothing. Moreover, both main roles were played by likeable actors, while Gameplay's eyes, which I know from Ingredients, were practically invisible here as Asian slits, which was cute, you could also look at Chai. On the other hand, the character of Penelope and the other creatures was horrible and the overall impression was not much.

The series, which follows the film itself, maintained its quality, perhaps a certain relaxation came in the middle parts. But still: different, different, gentle, tender, fragile, pure in connection with faith. Despite the small flaws that were there, everything I listed so clearly outweighed everything and I was amazed that we found ourselves in a Pinoy production, in the Philippines, which is so different in nature from this project ... simply Dolly is Dulu ?

I was very interested in the red balloon in the total length of the feature film, and I also thank our translator Andree1717 for the subtitles, because I was able to enjoy it with everything. The project appealed to me in two ways. On the one hand, with his truthfulness and convincing acting, and on the other level, he once again proved the development of Taiwan's attitude towards the minority community over time. What was famous for me was the choice of music and the overall impression it evoked during the course of the story. If I could, I would rate the sound an 11, so I'll add a point for the processing, which I originally rated a nine. I was surprised by the low rating of the project here and the search for nits, which had no effect at all on what the creators wanted to convey. Beautiful experience!

A very good collection of four stories, real, from real life, which pointed out the relatively large intolerance of Chinese society towards sexual minorities. I was most interested in the fact that at that time Chinese censorship was not yet so strict, and furthermore, that the creators managed to choose the most appropriate and especially likable types of boys and men, really enjoyable to watch.
1. US AGAINST THE WORLD - what was endearing about this sad story of intolerance was that one of the two boys was unafraid and defended the weaker one
2. BEIJING BEIJING - a boarded-up family breaks the bond between the two young men. Are you meeting again after three years?
3. THE WITNESS - two men with gym figures celebrate their third anniversary of living together, the mother of one of them pushes for her only son to marry and start a family, while the other of them sacrifices their relationship in order to "preserve" the traditions of the society. This gave me wisdom once: LOVE IS NOT AN OBLIGATION?
4. THE PROMISED CITY - two grown men struggle in the new city they moved to, not only with unemployment, but also with infidelity in their mutual relationship?

Overall just average. Although the beginning - a strange acquaintance through an ambush, but otherwise a little used story. The characters seemed rather flat to me, chanting pretty faces with carefully coiffed hair, so-called. "talking heads", as the term has been used here several times. No tension, chemistry between the characters, at least I didn't feel anything there, maybe others will. Solid sound and processing. I probably won't even go to the second series.

I didn't mind at all that the "vampire" story was presented in this way, in an exaggerated way, and I fully understood the intention of the authors (that is, that the vampire lacked bloody fangs, should he rest or sleep in the light, etc.?). All the time (and that this is a typically Korean BL project according to the footage) was mainly devoted to the two main characters, moreover, in my opinion, they were played very solidly, I was especially convinced by the "vampire" Jun Ho. The ending did not disillusion me at all, like many others or for example the ŠK duo, it seemed to me the most realistic in the fictional story, including the ring - but at least it will remain in the viewer's mind, either positively or negatively. The series would have benefited from a longer cut, it dragged on quite a bit in some moments, maybe even two hours, sometimes it was interesting for a while, other times a little less so. In any case, the gentlemen directors have probably never kissed a woman or a man. Some of the Maze-Phap "kisses" (the standing ones, especially the final one) were like knocking two bent mannequins together - the body at a distance, the head held with the hands so that the mannequin doesn't flinch. There was an effort, with all due respect to Sigt - Phap was the most sympathetic to me, both in terms of the character itself and more convincing acting.

No, no, no ... I tried very hard to understand everything, to empathize with the lives of the lowest levels of Philippine society, but I couldn't get past the barrier of weak to amateur acting and poor processing, and even if this time trans women had a cruel fate in this series , it only tempts me because they appear in practically all Pinoy projects, that there are perhaps hundreds of thousands of them in the Philippines, I can't explain it otherwise. The series doesn't seem to end and was supposed to have a continuation in My Chinito Prince, when 5 episodes were produced and then the continuation of this project was simply "cancelled" ... I think probably not only because of a lack of money ...

I prayed that the young director would avoid the mistakes he made with Paano Kaya Kung Tayo, which I rated solid with my eyes closed mainly because of the lead actors, some of whom are also in this series. Those who know me know that I always try to find something positive in a project, to praise for the effort and not to boost my ego, what a strict critic I am. But it really didn't work for me here. Total amateurism, when all the mistakes were repeated and more were added to them. Even a low-budget film can make a whip, but here it stayed with that dirty word, as the whole Czech saying sounds, and even the guys who played there didn't get it out of that mess.
STORY: only a tragedy could have written it, no real plot, just two antagonistic parties of young people, an implausible ending.
ACTORS: amateurism of the first class, I will perhaps build a monument to two characters: Calix's mother (in the way she treated her children) and an affected shot in the form of a girl with long hair.
SOUND: in connection with the PROCESSING - not very good, some scenes and the orchestra - the feeling that the creators are constantly artificially creating heart-wrenching or dramatic scenes, the main song is good and in one passage fake. The director (who also wrote the story) would probably benefit if he went to dig canals instead, maybe it would be better ...

This short story is beautifully done and is dominated by the acting (and looks) of the two identical Xia twins. It's both sad and beautiful, and underscored by the excellent musical accompaniment and processing.

When I realize the subject and the fact that the film was shot eleven years ago and during that time there was a slight shift in the creation of gay stories, I have to greatly appreciate the acting performances of both the two main protagonists (26 and 30 years old at the time). Done openly, tastefully, convincingly, and at the same time the viewer has the impression that it is really just a "documentary of a day", the picture does not play tricks, and please, we are in Asia! A beautifully-sad experience and a complete sense of truth...
