Wow when i looked at the cast and Izumi Rika was all the way at the bottom i thought she wasnt in season 2 and was sad.
But season 2 starts right where 1 left off and its great. And Izumi Rika remains the main love interest. I absolutely love her character and love that the show does not go the main route and ship the ML with his coworker

I did not like how that bitch SFL did not get any just deserts. She was evil lol. I did not like that she had another rebound simp right after he broke her heart.
This drama is basically like japanese 90210, but man is the ML a punching bag in this show. Nice old school feeling though. Just weird how the ML is afraid of kissing when all the other characters are getting with each other. He has no friends of his own. All the other characters are related to the FL. He really did not belong with that group. None of the other characters in the show had the same compassion and selflessness as the ML. The rest' main priority was partying and having fun while he was having a crisis about his life.
There is at least 10 moments where the ML gets cucked. In this show, nice guys literally finish last.

It’s because she realized she did all this horrible shit to someone who didn’t deserve it. The dad thought the ML abandoned his daughter and left her to die alone but it’s revealed that her friend who was the cameraman for all the videos was the ML (her friend). Meaning he’s not the boyfriend and baby daddy. He was just her best friend and since no one was there for her kid when she died giving birth, he became the dad.
He didn’t deserve her deceit to begin with. But the fact that he was even innocent of the one bad thing broke her.
The ending really ruined the tone of the show for me. It completely changed my opinion on the FL and her mom. Just left the ML for 3 years like it was nothing based off a misunderstanding. The mom straight up tells him he’s not worth shit and doesn’t deserve her daughter like everything he’s done to that point was worthless. Then she really just gets engaged to someone else. I’d be ok with this but it really didn’t fit the tone of the show up til the end.
I dunno. The leads relationship was so strong up til the end. Then you get them breaking up and the FL goes to Germany for 3 years and gets engaged to someone else. At that point, it’s not really a good love story. Getting back together after 3 years? Might as well just move on. I will say the drama is very mature because the ML basically says what we are all thinking to her face at the end. I like how multiple times in the show they explicitly tell the FL she is selfish and needs to see things from someone else’s perspectives. The FL did regret everything but still. 3 years is 3 years even though you get a time cut in the drama
Why do they not make dramas like this anymore. Mature college romance drama. The FL had so much progression throughout the story. I loved it. Got hooked immediately and couldn’t stop watching. The vibe and feel of the show was just refreshing. Then you get to the last 2 episodes of melodrama that may change your opinion on characters.
FL makes no sense. The ML treats her like a goddess and she still complaining. They made it a point to have the ML be a green flag with no flaws and is the perfect boyfriend doing all the chores and everything and she still complains lol. Nice short watch though. I loved the FL until her ex got involved. Then she kind of got annoying.
I was going to watch it, but right when the 3rd wheel was introduced, I knew I did not want to deal with this love triangle. The FL looks attractive and the characters seem good off rip, but I dont have the energy for this nonsense. Maybe another time lol
The ML and SFL broke up after a long 4 year relationship. The SFL felt the ML was too nonchalant and non-loving so she said "lets break up" as a test and the ML simply agreed without any argument proving her point. Then the ML meets the FL and completely changes and becomes loving and affectionate proving the SFL was right that the ML did not really love her.

This is really good and very realistic. The reason for the ML and SFL break up made sense to me and the SFL was such a good character. Once she quickly realized they like each other, she supported them. I hate triangle relationships though, because it was sad seeing the SFL jealous.
This show has 0 BS, except for both leads have short triangle relationships that are done healthily and is very warm and fuzzy. Such a good short watch.
The beginning is so weird with the forced love triangle that makes no sense. I've never seen a show start with the SML's love triangle being the focus of the show for the first 10 episodes. The SML Chu Nan has another love triangle on top of that with the SFL and baby daddy. When the FL gets out of the love triangle with Chu Nan the next episode she has another love triangle with someone else. It is ridiculous. You really have to skip the whole thing because its all love triangle filler.
