I don’t know if I like this serie. Again the situation are forced. The thing about not saying the boyfriend…
Thana already feels like he's mooching off his bf - he's hiding it because he's ashamed, I thought that was well-established, although it's foolish since he can't hide it forever.
judging from the first episode, i already know i shouldnt keep watching it. literally everyone elses acting was…
That's odd - I found the acting good except for Gun's. Fortunately all he's had to do so far is stand around and smile, and apparently he can handle that.
I mostly liked the first episode. Grown-up couple more so than the school one, but both are moving...somewhere.…
Thai BL definitely doesn't trust its audience - even to remember the previous scene, because we need a flashback to remember what happened 30 seconds ago.
Phat is just being considerate knowing the divorce thing of Tai's parents. Tai/Phat (can't remember who's the…
Love involves sex and they were having it and then stopped. That is awful an nobody likes that - especially for a guy, you can't just stop. I guess you could think about dead puppies and old nuns, but why would you want to if you're with your "soulmate"?
That's actually the problem I have with the main couple. We're TOLD they're soulmates, but we haven't been SHOWN. (The Show Don't Tell rule.)
That was better than I was expecting, but there was one major problem with it, which is that the relationship between Nikko & Eli wasn't given enough time to develop and too much centered on the illness, which has less impact as a result. I would have compressed the second part and given more time to the first part - I think that would have given a better result.
The acting was OK - Tommy was great as Nikko and Raynold did his best as Eli. When you look like that you don't really have to do much. The technical quality was OK but not great, with a lot of mistakes, but not enough to ruin it or anything.

Then don't start - but to slam on the brakes in the middle of the act is silly for 30 year olds. Your first time is a huge thing when you're a teen, but by 30 it's the normal conclusion of a successful date. When I was that age "taking it slow" was waiting until AFTER dinner to have sex.
I'm fine with this sort of thing when it's age appropriate, like when the story is set in high school. But this is a little silly.
So it’s not just me that gets annoyed by those double/triple take scenes. It truly irks tf out of me. I don’t…
I hope so. I need to go back and rewatch SOTUS some day - I liked him in that, but haven't really liked him in anything since, and I wonder ifI was fascinated by SOTUS because it was the first BL I ever saw.
As for adorable, I find him more annoying than adorable because his character is 30. He might be in an 18-year old body, but his mind is 30. That's not adorable behavior, it's guy-who's-lived-in-his-parents'-basement-without-any-human-contact behavior. That's not Krist's fault, I know.
In general, I would rather the humor be more subtle or more OTT - it seems a little bit "neither fish nor fowl". There have been a few times when the sound effects or animation were really on point and made me laugh, though - I'd like more of that type of thing.
I actually fully agree. That was annoying and immature, reminds me of the gay YA novels where the main character…
That might not have bothered me as much in Ep 4, but this is Ep 8 - this guy is obviously planning his whole life around Mahiro, stares at him adoringly all day, and wants to kiss him.
I'm actually bored with the main couple. I wasn't bored with that scene in Tai's apartment, but the way they stopped was ridiculous. If Tai were 18, that would have been fine, but they're both pushing 30, so it's a bit late to pull the Victorian virgin routine. Have any of these people ever met a guy? They're not exactly well known for bringing sexual encounters to a screeching halt to "get to know you better." Yeah, you can get to know me better by sticking your d@#$ into my a$$ - f@#$ the "I'm a sensitive guy and I don't want this to be about sex." It can be about both.
Sorry. That got on my nerves a little.
I like that Lomfon is low-grade evil - he's a delightful character and the actor is doing a fantastic job playing him. I love his subtlety, like how he had a hint of a smile at how cute Tian was when he was drunk. And how he tried to hide how shattered he was to hear Tai has a soulmate. Great writing and acting there.
And I liked how Patts instantly caught on that Lomfon is a threat and shed his "I'm a calm nice guy" act.
But the main couple have way too much staring going on - this is episode six, it's time to get this moving.
Where to watch this episode?? Still didn't get it 😭 They could've released it in YouTube!!!
Well, they don't make these out of charity, and they need to recoup the cost of making them or they will have to stop making them - so many people watch them illegally, which is essentially stealing.
This episode was really bad, from the hug misunderstanding trope to the endless implausible lack of commuication. When you like someone, even if you're an insecure person, you read MORE into what the object of your affection does than is there rather than LESS. Are you trying to tell me that Mahiro thought a straight guy would kiss him just to mess around with him? Because that's occurred approximiately zero times in the entire 6,000 years of human civiization. It just has no emotional authenticity and is the sign of a terrible writer who has no experience with actual human interaction.
What a huge disappointment - I really liked this series in the earlier episodes, but Mahiro has become so tiresome and pathetic than I want Souta to find someone better.
I still don't know how I feel about this series. Parts of it I like, but those parts are few and far between.…
This episode completely lost me to the point I doubt I'll finish. The misunderstanding the hug thing is the laziest, stupidest writing - they even teach that as one of the worst things to do in writing classes. This whole series depends on implausible misunderstanding and it's grown beyond tiresome.
The writing on this is good so far - often time travel stories are a mess. The problem though is that Kawi is supposed to be 30 but he acts 12, which is not a problem in itself, but add that to how selfish he is and how abusive his is of Pisaeng's kindness and that leaves him unappealing to me. I'm not sure Krist has the charisma for a role like this presuming it's inevitably more serious, but we'll see when he has to do some acting. Maybe the directing or editing is off, but the comedy doesn't seem to be timed quite right, and is too predictable - comedy is funnier when the joke isn't broadcast too far in advance. There are a lot of cliches, but not so many that it gets on my nerves - the only one was the triple take kiss, which drained the emotion out of it - I don't know why they do that in Asian drama.
The song in the show is certainly not reflective of all Kpop in general, and I don't know why you felt like going…
Why is that? He's not a very good actor, he doesn't appear to like BL, and while he's cute, he's not especially so. I don't get it. Is it SOTUS nostalgia?
