Did nobody consider that it's not very interesting for a 40-minute episode to be about eating cake vs porridge and a hair cut for an irrelevant character that we just met? It's hard to believe it's the same main couple - even Book is appealing, and I was pretty sure my my hands would be trying to reach for his neck through the screen the whole series. Yes, thank you, I'll fix those, although I'm not entirely sure what I meant by "bark of the band". I did feel the second half lost a bit of steam compared to the first few eps, which culminated in the dance and never really reached those heights for me again. But it was still a great series.

I'd rather there be no kiss than a bad one - a hug us fine, and often better. The example you gave is a good one - it's all about the acting and execution. We don't need the actors to French, although nobody is stopping them.

I got confused watching the 8th Sense and didn't continue, but feedback is nearly universal that it's worth sticking with so I plan to go back to it. BTW, I'm not saying that KBL is inherently boring, it just has been lately. Some of the best BLs are K.

Exactly. I don't care what the novel The Godfather says - if I'm watching a film, all I care about is the story that's on the screen. There are things that work on the page that don't work on the screen and vice versa. In a manga, when people kiss, their lips touch because it's a 2D static moment. A live action drama is not static, so if their lips just touch it's awful and unreal.

Did they say he was a freshman? That would make him 18. To be a nurse requires 2 years, so he'd need to be 20-21 minimum - but more likely he'd be 23-24.

What's with all the boring KBLs? It's not good if I have to take breaks several times during 30-minute episodes. The pottery guy is profoundly uninteresting - I do care about what happens to the tattoo guy, but that's about it. I really don't care what the manwha does - this isn't the manwha, it's live action, which is a totally different medium and it shouldn't be faithfully adapted, it should be modified to fit lie action. In a manwha kisses have to be just lips touching because it's 2D and not moving. In live action it looks awful and frankly homophobic. I'm fine with them not kissing, but if they kiss, they need to kiss.

This is awful. First of all, the main pair has zero chemistry. Not just zero, but negative chemistry, like it would be mildly icky if they got together. It has nothing to do with age difference, which I don't really see, since we've seen them in flashbacks as kids, and there's no way they're more than 2 or so years apart unless Tin was a giant mutant baby, which is possible because he still is.

Second, nothing happens except repetitive childish squabbling between adults and discussions about incredibly boring things, Did nobody read the script before they started filming this? They should have just downloaded the script for Star Wars and acted it out with an all boy cast. That would have been 1,000,000 times more entertaining.

Third, Lee Long Shi hasn't taken off his shirt even once in this, which should be illegal. On the other hand, Tong managed to carry that category with his sleep clothes, and he should be required to wear short shorts from now on.

We saw them as kids, and they can't be more than 2-3 years apart in age, Also, Tin has has a crush on Park for his entire life - I don't think he's in danger of growing out of it. Is he even a teen? He's in college, so he could be 18, but if he is, Park can't be much above 20-21. For the record, the actors are 27 and 29.

As for Kana, he could make a lot of money selling his body, from what we saw today, so he's got that to fall back on, I'm not serious, but I am.
