This series plot has more holes than swiss cheese. That has nothing to do with suspension of disbelief. This is…
Yes, true, but that's different. It's kind of the basis of my complaint. "You're worried about the MOON being unrealistic - compared to when X happened?"
Like I was saying, whatever the "schtik" is, I'm fine with it. Ghost, vampire, everyone in school is gay, one of them is an animated demonic corpse, all fine. But people have to behave like people on an emotional level, even if one of them isn't human.
He's probably confident knowing that Gun would win, plus its a secret crush. A big reason why he didn't vote him…
The more I think about it the more what you said makes sense even given what we've been shown. Tinn knows his mother wants the club shut down, and she'd be upset if he voted against what she wants.
Sorry but I don't think it's fair for mark tbh. Literally like him and Nuea were just talking and yk being friends??…
Vee didn't make Mark wait, Mark chose to wait - Mark is the more experienced of the two, and understood what he was signing up for, and he apparently judged it correctly. And it's not like it was 5 years, it was just a few weeks.
This is terribble. It's like Tonhon Chonlatee fanfic written by a 12-year old. Wait, is it Tonhon Chonlatee fanfic written by a 12-year old? That would actually explain a lot.
The series consistently fails to takee advantage of any opportunity to make anything interesting.
There's nothing new explored in Ai & Nhai's relationship dynamic, no plot, no goal to reach, nothing. You can have both cute moments between a couple and a story. Without a story, you can't maintain 12 episodes of people grocery shopping, playing a boardgame, typing messages, and having shallow conversations about pretty much nothing.
I really didn't like that an external impetus was written in for Captain & Foei - it's a shortcut and bad writing to not have them resolve their issues organically, i.e. sorting their feelings, than they lazy way they handled it. But it was partially saved by the clever heart monitor thing.
I like the moral complexity they've introduced, but I'm really tired of the entire cast running around screaming for a missing person - enough already.
That swing dancing scene was hilarious - if this were a drama I would complain that what their upper bodies were doing had absolutely nothing to do with th dancers that substituted for their lower bodies.
I don't like Sher - she's so santimonious and doesn't care whose lives she ruins. Phat should give up on women and find a nice man who will properly appreciate his... assets.
And Foei is a total dick. Captain can do a lot better than that sanctimonious jerk. Captain doesn't need to ask him how he feels because Foei already told him. Captain can only tell Foei how he feels, and if Foei doesn't want him, then he should tell him so instead of sending mixed signals. He's ridiculous - acting like an immature child. Why does Captain need to change? He's loving, loyal, sincere, and really hot.
And after that ridiculous rant, he wouldn't even let Captain speak, in one of the most stunning displays of assholish hipocrisy.
The color coordination is so Thai and so perfect - aquamarine & plum with gold highlights and the spash of dark red with Wut's wife's dress. Very chef's kiss.
People like to use those words lately, how is he a groomer or pedo? Some bl fans are annoying.
Yes, the most over-used word in English is "toxic", which has almost no meaning anymore. Ironically, Sher is Fahlanruk might qualify - abusive behavior endessly repeated with no detectable personal development, but I can't think of many examples. Without flawed characters there is no drama, just fluff-porn, which is OK, but not if it's ALL BL, which is starting to become the case.
What is the point of Ai Long Nhai? If Meen didn't look so f@$%ing hot with his shirt off there's no chance I would watch it. Because people aren't allowed to have flaws, any drama there is needs to be external, which is almost always contrived and frustrating.
I think it's OK. I didn't love the dependence on tropes and the most unoriginal plot conceivable, but I did like that it's about a band and there's actual music and it's used in the plot. Also, the main couple is gorgeous. Like I can't look away.
It didn't make any sense that Tinn voted against Gun then engineered his victory. Why not just leave things as they are and vote for him himself? Since he's clearly in love with him, that would advance him in Gun's affectons. Unless he really thought the other band was better, in which case he robbed the other band.
I'm also not a fan of going back to a conversation we just saw and changing it in flashback. That's bad writing. It's OK if the conversation continued after what we saw - but not midsentence.

Also, who cares? If Bom tried to "groom" Tar, Tar would just beat him up. This weird obsession with anything that's potentially transgressive - like actors playing roles in fictional stories - produces all this angst. OMG, X had a sip of a beer and Y had sex with him anyway. Rapist! We all know you can't consent if you're in the same room as a drink - you may inhale vaporized alcohol. You know, I've simultaneouly raped and been raped almost every single time I've ever had sex.
Do people even know what alcohol is for? It's to reduce inhibitions so you'll do things you want to do that you're too shy for without it.
Tar is 18, Bom is 20. Is that such a huge age difference? That's the characters. The age of the actors is irrelevant. In Oxygen, the father of Solo was played by an actor only 3 years older than his "son". So some evil woman groomed a three-year old mutant child to get herself pregnant?

This series is a serious wasted opportunity.

End of rant.
