Is it me or does Ben like Nuengdiao or does he seem shady and creepy?
I think Ben is just being nice to him and that will make Chopper jealous. EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure. Palm's reaction to him was very negative, and the music cues were very ominous.
That was "meh" for me. Sloppy plot, and down too many blind alleys. The abuse storyline didn't belong in this - it came out of nowhere with no setup, and there was no real payoff - it was just an excuse to introduce external drama and keep the boys apart - and suddenly Bai Lang's PTSD is gone.
This started out fantastic - I was more excited about this than anything - but it lost steam halfway through and never got it back. They also separated RJ and Alex and gave us nothing there.
I give it a 9 for the first 6 episodes and a 6 for the last 6.
They really trashed the show the last two episodes. Abusive father and an adult that can't stand up for that?…
It wasn't necessarily the abuse storyline that was a problem, it's the total, absolute lack of setup for it. It's another 2nd to last episode crisis that dropped out of the sky to add drama. Are you telling me a grown man doesn't know his father well enough to know how he would react? At least it wasn't an evil girlfriend.
This was one of the better series of the year, but I do think it was a bit too G-rated, and I think it would have worked better as PG-13. Choco and Jung Woo felt more like a primary school couple than adults. They are a cute and pleasant couple, but I didn't find myself investing as much in them as I would have expected. At first there was some heat, but it fizzled away, although the cuteness remained. An the cast was perfect. Can you imagine walking into a restaurant like those girls and being confronted with that quartet? I'd go there every day.
The consequence-free ability to come back was a bit of a cheat, but I'm not complaining.
Any chance the last episode will be longer? How are they going to wrap this up?
Ai was crying because he'd disrespected his parents because his mother made him believe they'd wronged her and that was him begging them for forgiveness. The scene with Nhai & the mom is one of the better ones in the series and the moment that breaks the formula. Not only did he refuse to break up with Ai, he wiped the floor with her. It's worth watching.
I don't like it. I can't take one more scene where Noey asks Thi 5,000 times to get on the bike and Thi just stands there grimacing. Sorry, it's just tiresome and frustrating.
I cannot understand how this has an 8.0 rating and other current , more interesting series have been rated much…
I can make no sense of the rating algorythm. Korean series appear to be favored.
Go up to the ratings section and click on the graph, and it shows vote by age group - it's all about 8.0. But then do the same for My School President, which has an 8.2, but look at the breakdown - it must average 8.7, and well it should - so why the big penalty?
There is too much going on in this series, and yet it seems to waste a lot of time. Plus, the too much going on is not what we all want to see going on.
Although I like all the couples, they should have cut everyone else out except RJ & Cheng Hao. There is no purpose to this abuse storyline, and they should have focused on Bai Lang's PTSD, which is more interesting and more relevant to the couple.
I'm disappointed. This series had a fantastic start, and has jettisoned everything that gave it charm. The even sent RJ out of town for three episodes. WTF? Why? I'll watch the finale, but there is zero chance everything will be resolved satisfactorily. Everything is going to feel unearned.
in this show the two mail leads have an 9 year age gap... 18 and 27... I have somewhat of a problem with that...…
It's just you. They're playing characters that are almost the same age. Nobody seems to mind Earth and Santa, and it's not much different. I've dated people with a larger age gap than that - what's wrong with it?
"Of course it's GMM so they can still destroy it with an evil girfriend dropping out of the sky in Ep 11, yet…
Gun will plan a surprise party for Tinn helped by a female friend, and Tinn will assume Gun likes her and break up with him because he thinks Gun will be happier that way and they'll both mope and cry to a sappy ballad with a montage of happy times spent together playing. They'll make up in the last 10 seconds and high five each other. The End.
This kind of comment coming from you says a lot!!! I’m not very picky when it comes to BLs, but I have been…
I know - I usually hate everything, especially high school dramas. But it's so, so good. Even if it weren't, I'd still want to stare at Fourth all day.
That'g got to be the first time something was so cute it made me cry. Or rather that Fourth is so cute that it made me cry.
This really needs to be the last high school romcom BL - anything after this will embarass itself. This is about as close as you can get to perfect. They even integrated the product placement in a cute way.
This is what you get when a lot of love is put into a production - the attention to detail, the committed performances, a director who pulls the best out of his actors, even the dance scene was perfectly choreographed and edited - and performed by the cast. And they clearly rigorously rehearsed it.
This is a profoundly unoriginal plot, but it takes it to a much higher plane than we've ever seen.
Of course it's GMM so they can still destroy it with an evil girfriend dropping out of the sky in Ep 11, yet I have a good feeling about this one.
Okay, this is mega cute. And funny. Getting better each week. The pacing is just right. No boring stretches or…
That was a joke in that Tiw was referring to his own role in Bad Buddy - the actor was in that. Remember, he said not Ohm or Nanon but the friend with curly hair, i.e. him.

I'd give the series a 9, and hope for a S2.

I didn't really like Ghost House, except Boy is sexy as heck.
In which case I will burn things down.
