The chemistry and acting are great. The writing is horrible and beyond boring. If Mark weren't in this I'd drop it.

BL is equal opportunity with Christmas carols. I've heard many. I think it was Don't Say No that used the German national anthem as background music for no apparent reason.

I'm trying to think of what on Josh has 4 letters that has to be censored. Pecs, legs, arms.... ass only has three letters, and we haven't seen his d*** and regrettably won't, so "butt"? In any case it doesn't really matter because any part of him is enough "plot" to drive my interest, and it's not like Gawin is a slouch in that department either.

Mark isn't quite at Joss-level in the body category, but it's hard to beat that face.

I have absolutely no issue with Mark not being with Neo, which I never thought really worked, and I think this is a much, much better pairing. But I do have an issue with how dreadfully boring and poorly written this is. This epsidode was entirely about someone with a dental phobia and a dentist finding the dullest possible way to waste his day attempting to relax him. I don't want toxic drama, but SOME drama of SOME type, or at least a lot more comedy would make this way more watchable.

TBH, a normal person would have had Jay's d#$% in his mouth a long time ago, pain or not, but this is a BL, so a date day that an 11-year old girl that wears pink unicorn dresses would find dismally boring is par for the course. But even by Thai BL standards this was a rather extreme example. I kept thinking of the old lady in Airplaine! listening to Ted's stories (she hanged herself to escape).

If you don't know what a croissant is, then don't put one in your story. If there's one solid food you can eat eithout disturbing a sore tooth, that's the one. She could have named the main character Can, short for "Pecan Pie" and it would have made more sense.

In short, I agree with you. This is terrible. At least the first half of 2gether was decent - if this didn't have Mark in it I wouldn't make it through an episode.

- I don't think the writer knows what writing is. Defintely not pacing.
- The amount of flashbacks is stupid. Nobody is going to forget a soaking wet hot guy asking you to be his boyfriend while giving you an underwear-spoiling smirk for two entire episodes.
- Sant is not a man, he's a small girl. Why do people write charaters like this?
-Sant was abandoned when he was 8, so that would have been 2015. There was no way to find someone in 2015? Lazy writing.

However, the acting is quite good and Mark is unbelievably beautiful. Will it be enough? I doubt it. The writing is too abyssmal. I doubt many women would have any interest in spending a day like that let alone a man, who would much rather stay home and play games or masturbate than waste a day off.

I do like that Sant is only pretending to not like Jay, because nobody in their right mind would put him off for long.

I'm the opposite. I liked the first episode and am struggled to get through the second. Fortuantely Mark is so beautiful I could watch him sleeping for an episode, so I'm OK with it.

I agree 100%. The acting is great, but it's just the same scene over and over.

The writing is awful. They basically reset the story at the end of last episiode and this latest (ep 4) is just a hamster on a wheel.

I didn't love Ep 4. It basically reset to the beginning fter the orphanage visit and rehashed everything we've been through before, so until the last 10 seconds it was a bit of a waste of time, although it seems to be setting up the possibility of Tonkla and Nakan, which would be hot. But I suppose it won't go that way.

Gawin is sexy with the English. It's quite clear he's fluent rather than awkwardly trying to sound out the words as is usual when English is attempted.

It's not bad - it doesn't really focus on the vampire stuff after the first episode. It's a bit slow and repetitive, but it's a Thai BL.

That's one of my favorites! I loved that the seme was the young guy - that's very unusual, and the power dynamic was really hot.

It's not an issue of freedom of speech, it's an issue of hypocricy - you are telling someone they shouldn't express themself about something when they're responding to someone who you are saying should express themself. If it's fine for someone to make a pointless comment, then it's fine for someone to call out someone for making a pointless comment.

I wonder if there's a bunch of review bobing that happens by spiteful people that it takes a little time to correct - I've noticed a gradual decline on this site - is it that people don't have enough going on in their lives that they have energy to hate on light entertainment? People get incredibly worked up about ships and get really hostile when an actor is "cheating" on his eternal partner. I like it when actors are mixed and matched - I think one of the worst weaknesses of Thai BL is the permanent pairing of actors.

If you think about it, the first time a pair is put together, they've auditioned for the roles and the best actors were chosen for those roles - but in subsequent series, they're paired off regardless of whether their skills match the roll and you lose the "lightning in a bottle" from the first series. For example, Ohm Thitiwat and Fluke Natouch are basically "crybaby and his talking mannequin", which worked once and then became inscreasingly tiresome - especially when the actors are pigeonholed into narrow types. I'll bet Fluke could do a lot more than just sit aroud crying all the time if he were given a chance. And Ohm could play a fencepost instead of a talking mannequin, or maybe a wet carboard box. That was really bitchy. Sorry.

Well said. I'd prefer a slow-burn plot to Bad Buddy, which just cribbed Romeo & Julien until halfway through when it gave up trying to have a plot and just vomited 6 episodes of mindless fan-service at the audience.

If you can't tell that Joss' acting in this is very strong, maybe you should go watch the original Love Sick or cartoons. It's not easy to portray an emotionally repressed person and pull it off this strongly - compare this to human fencepost Ohm Thitiwat who people seem to love despite his inability to out-act a manniquin.

I've never seen a series with more unearned hate aimed at it than this one - I'm truly baffled.

It's intentionally funny - the overly dramatic music is a deliberate choice. I think it's well-done. It reminds me of Young Frankenstein or Airplane!, both of which do that for comedic effect.
