Pedophilia and age gaps? First of all, the agism in the BL community is disgusting. Who cares if there's an age gap? As long as both are adults and consenting, it doesn't matter if they're 18 and 108 - it's nobody's business but theirs. OK, I wouldn't want to watch that, but 20 and 40 is fine. Nobody will accept any sort of "ism" at all, except the full-throated embrace of agism. my first positive experience was with an older man - without him I might never have had the self-conifdence to form relationships.

But beyond that, nobody seems to have a problem with a 500-year old vampire attending high school and picking up underage girls in Twilight, but here people complain about an actual adult with a man about 100 times hotter than some sparkly ancient boy.

I don't think the hate aimed at this series is just about the age gap - for some reason a lot of people are dead-set against Joss, for whatever he might have said, and probably because he's 100% masculine man and 0% boy, and are mad that Gawin isn't with whomever his eternal partner is supposed to be in their minds.

I agree with all this, except one minor point - Teerak isn't calling Muenfah by his name - that's just the subtitles. He's calling him "phi" (literally "older brother"), which is similar to an English pronoun in function. In Thai, people refer to themsevles in the third person - so when Muenfah is talking to Teerak, for example, "I love you", would be "Older brother loves younger brother."

But Teerak is so annoying that I don't care about all that and want someone to spank him until he turns into an adult. BL tends to infantilize the uke, which is one of it's most tiresome tropes. They can't walk without tripping, be touched by a drop of water without getting a fever, or have a sip of beer without projectile vomiting and having their memory totally deleted.

MDL is a bit biased againt everything not Korean - if you add up all the actual votes by age, it's higher than 7.6 (as I write this) - it looks like a solid "8". There's some inscrutable algorithm at work that I'll never understand.

Usually it starts too high and levels down, though. I'm confused why this is so low and I'm curious why people rate it that way - this was a lot better than most first episodes, which are often difficult to get past. At the end of this one I was wanting more immediately.

Nobody is being rude, although it's mildly rude to call people "literally rude" without any evidence. If it's perfectly fine for people to proclaim they're not watching something without giving a reason, why in your opinion is it not OK for people to challenge someone for doing that? I personally think a discussion forum is for, well, discussion. "one of the few GMM series that I don't plan to watch" is not an invitation to discussion, it's a pissy remark that adds nothing to anything.

7.6 seems low to me for this - it's really cute and the cast is great. Is this another case of people being mad at the pairings? Or maybe the title is too close to the Taiwanese series that ended up being disappointing?

There was a bit too much done in flashback that seemed a little unnecessary and clunky, but overall it looks very promising.

Jimmy looks HaF in glasses. And Mark is just ridiculous. He gets more handsome in each successive series. Is Poon being paired with the female dentist, or Jimmy?

The look they gave Smart is awful - it hides his looks. I can already tell this series is not aimed at me, and I've been waiting for Smart to be in something.

What a shame to have such a gorgeous cast and such awful writing and directing. I really tried, but I can't continue this - life is too short.

That wasn't bad. It wasn't good, either, but it has some promise. At least the acting is good, and of course the scenery. Some of the photography was wonderful, although the shaky cam was retro. Not as much as the music, which made me think I was back in the 1980s.

I wish Nammon was the love interest - so sexy.

Nammon is so hot I can't pay attention to anything else.

Thsat was an amazing pairing, but it's rare to pair two big muscly guys like that.

I scanned all the way down the first page and saw not one comment hating on JossGawin. Are people here doing that? It looks like the response to them is overwhelmingly positive.

Love in the Air was ruined by horrible writing, not NC scenes.

I think it was more of a "Holy f@#$ that man is hot" moment. And I think on some level he recognized him.

But I agree with you. Both actors would have chemistry with a fencepost, so there's that, and I saw hints of it, but it nothing has really happened yet. But I'm encouraged.

You're following everyone around and casting accusations at anyone who doesn't like the series - and they're criticizing a work of fiction, you're criticizing actual people. Can you not see how you're being infinitely worse?

Isn't this the fist time they've been paired? I'm confued how that has anything to do with Ohm & Lang . Did Joss and Gawin pay the atudio to break them up or something?
