That seemed to be New telling Mork that what he was doing wasn't cool. I don't think Tiew has a twin, and I'm not sure Mork does either - it could be a multiple personality disorder, or it could be something supernatural or afterlife-y.

I still use World of BL and depend on everyone here to fill in the blanks. but I've also noticed it's not updating as much as it used to. But to be fair, a couple of months ago the volume of BLs was so out of control it would be a full-time job to update everything.

I think it's funny how everyone wants the guy with the best body, and the guy with the best body won't commit because he knows he can have whoever he wants. That's the gay world, though. Don't forget, this is not BL, and nobody thinks there's One True Love. It would be fun to see what they're not showing us, but it would probably be too NC-17.

I'm not all the way to Ep 9 yet, but you can kind of see where it's headed by Ep 3. These inevitably get edited to push certain narratives to heighten the drama.

My brother once worked as DP on a reality show called "Scent of Love" where three guys had to wear a t-shirt for 3 days and then the woman sniffed the shirts and chose her date by scent. He did one episode then quit because it was so stupid and the producers were interfering in everything to try to get the story they wanted.

Funny note: One of the guys was Asian, and when she got to his shirt she said it smelled like fabric softener (in general, Asians "keep" better than white guys - much less body hair).

Do you know how sweaty Pleng would be dragging a fully-grown man all the way home dressed like that in that weather? Well, dressed in white pants you'd be able to see how well hung he is because he's be soaked through. And he didn't shower afterwards and went to bed fully dressed. He must have smelled like a deceased donkey the next morning. Piggy-back rides need to be banned. Enough.

Pavel was ridiculously cute in the drunk scene, and so natural. Maybe Benz was improvising and making him laugh for real. And I really would like someone to punch Duean Yi in the face, but I have to grant that Benz did a great job playing drunk.

But for some reason, anything short of the love child of Jesus & Buddha is unacceptable in BL. That bothers me because expecting BL to be about cute boys doing cute things to each other is fetishization - and since it's usually the same people who won't accept flaws that are totally merciless to boys who are confused about their sexuality (like for example Vee in Love Mechanics) and behave accordingly, this is just getting off on gay men without any understanding or support for what we go through in life.

That was really good - the young actors were very natural - they looked like the younger brothers of Q & X from 21 Day Theory.

It was shot well and I'm glad to see a BL where the characters aren't obscenely rich.

I was having trouble with Ayan and I might have leaned too heavily on Khaotung's acting - but it may be largely the writing. It's a little incongruous for him to be a swaggering lone wolf and so shameless in flirting. I think audiences are so used to it in BL that they might not think about how that would play even in a magical world where there's no homophobia. Replace Akk with a girl - that would come off as a bit rapey, so why is it normal or cute when it's 2 guys?

As a response to a threat of violence it works, because it's unexpected and disarming, but otherwise it's a bit off-putting. When I was in college there was a guy who came onto me so strong it was a little traumatizing - I dreaded being alone with him in a room, which he seemed to be good at engineering. Even if he were Khaotung instead of someone I was wholly unattracted to, it would have turned me off. Although if it had been Neo I would let him do whatever he wanted to. :)
