I am having a hard time understanding something. Why does Prakan act like Tua is killing these people? Tua literally…
That is the central issue that bothers a great many viewers. People are usually capable of fairly mature moral reasoning at around 10 years of age.
For example, if you give small child these two scenarios and ask which is worse:
1. Mary accidentally broke 10 cups while emptying the dishwasher 2. Ann broke one cup by throwing it at Mary's head.
Most children will say #1 is worse because Mary broke 10 times more cups than Ann. by age 10, almost everyone understands the difference between an accident and an act of violence, and that #2 is infinitely worse than #1.
Prakan is probably around 30 or so, and yet he can't figure out something equally basic. I can get deflecting his anguish at being helpless on an available target. Once. And then apologizing - profusely. But not being a total dick on 5? different occassions over the same issue.
On another issue, what exactly is Tuaphee? He's not a ghost, and he has physical form. So is he a reanimated dead person who can teleport? Does that mean his heart is missing? A physical recreation of his mortal body in the same form? If he's a reanimated corpse with no heart, what happens if he falls asleep on a park bench and somone checks his pulse? Would he be accidentally cremated?
Absolutely not. Especially not the medical aspects, but Triage has a beautifully-written plot and this does not. Karn & Nut also aren't Tae & Tee. This is easier to watch, though - Triage is stressful.
I've been watching the rating too, lol. It's going up a little, which is unusual in the later part of a series. This is definitely better than KinnPorsche - but KP is more fun to watch. This is actually kind of unpleasant to watch at times with all the secondhand embarassment and the non-stop dread you feel because you just know everything is going to go wrong.
I really like this show, but hear me out. WHAT is BL's obsession with girlfriends? When is it ever going to end? Why do all the characters have to be straight(ish)? Tin obviously is, because he had to ask a gay guy what guys do, so he obviously has never thought about it because the internet. Come on, we've all looked up things we probably wouldn't do for real. But kinda want to.
And their only purpose is to get in the way, scheme like a cartoon villain, and provoke jealousy. To me this ep was a 10 lowered to an 8 by the unpleasantness of the 2 female "obstacle" characters.
What purpose is served by Mai or the new woman being female? Why can't Tin's ex be a man? Wouldn't it make more sense is Tol was jealous of Tin's attentions to a man? La Cuisine could have been a "9" without the insane woman. Instead, a really sweet story had a Mexico-level lakorn villainess take over the whole series. Enough already.
I am at the point where I prefer BLs with all males or very small roles for the females. Why are the females generally…
1000% agree. I can't take it anymore. Wait, that was ep 8, right?
If there's a reason why it needs to be a female, OK. But what diffrence would it make if Mai were a woman? Or better yet, Tin's ex? I don't understand why we have to keep going to the same place. People pooped on Brothers, but there was only one female character, and she was a cool mom. Heck, there was only one straight male character - the father, and I had my doubts about him, too.
Yall at the end of episode 8 they had like 3 or 4 security guards but none of them bother to stop that crazy man…
Did you see the school shooting last week where there were a dozen police with guns and they didn't go stop one teenager? (Actually they handcuffed parents who wanted to go in and save their kids.)
For me the problem is Prakan. I thought the actor who played him as a child was better than the adult. I would…
The Reaper "rules" never become comprehendible. They're not ghosts, they seem to have physical form, people can only see them when they're wearing Hawaiian shirts, and all sorts of new rules pop up to suit the plot. Also, Prakan always blames the reaper for deaths, when it's only his job to escort the dead to the next world. Someone is run over by a car, Prakan blames Tuaphee.
For me the problem is Prakan. I thought the actor who played him as a child was better than the adult. I would…
If you like the MC from Grey Rainbow, you might like this, although I don't think they have the same charm in Doctor. Also, the Prakan character is written to be very unpleasant, and the role is not as suited to the the actor as the Rainbow role. To me this series had the potential to be really good but falls short. You might watch the first ep - but if you're not crazy about it, you probably never will be.
However, you can see below that there are people who are fanatical. But note th 7.7 rating - that is low for a mainstream BL, but not abysmal, and roughly in line with Grey Rainbow - although I think that would have been above 8.0 if not for You Know What.
I miss the breezy tone of the first season as well as the humor and wit. For this reason the first two episodes…
I'm in the same boat. A lot of people here seem to love the angst, but BL is light fantasy to relieve the soul-crushing burden of day-to-day life. The last thing I want to watch is something grey and bleak. There is no possible reason other than terrorsts threatning to kill everyone if Ji Woon didn't break up with him that would be acceptable here.
I don't care for this. I'm disappointed they just reset Ji Woo and now are throwing in the usual ex-gf plot. Even if she isn't, Seo Joon will think she is. This lacks the humor and charm of the first series and is just dreary. In the original story Ji Woo's surliness was funny because he was thoroughly unimpressded with Seo Joon's stardom and narcissism. Here he's just being cruel.
I liked Seo Joon calling continuously to mak Ji Woo come get his stuff, but other than that, it just seems regressive. Someday BL will move past ex-gf plots - I hope. But probably not.
Yoon can pull off this role - his face doesn't matter, it's what he does with it. Plenty of baby-faced actors have been pefectly chilling in dark roles.
But the trailer is cartoonish - and I'm really over BLs with an evil female. If the villain were interesting, like Jennie in 3willBFree, OK, but they're all psychos whose only aspiration is getting a man. It's misogynist, and worse, boring as f@#$,
I'll probably watch the premiere, but it looks kind of silly. They might have reconsidered airing this while KinnPorsche is running.
My thoughts exactly. I kept thinking this isn't like Fah at all. Admittedly we didn't see that much of him in…
Same. Actually, the thing that I thought was the most off about Fah was wearing all black on a hike up a mountain in extreme heat. Seriously? And not a smudge on him.

But Mai could be crushed by a falling piano, with any luck when she's standing next to Tin's ex, and I'd be giddy.

The quality of the production is high, though.
