After this week Fah has officially become my favorite seme ever. He's such a good person and great boyfriend.…
Nobody is trashing it, although you are trashing people for having opinions, aren't you? If someone with a different opinion than yours expressing themselves ruins your enjoyment of the series, then do you really like it?

He was in a totally non-sexual part. I really don't see your objection. Taking your shirt off isn't inappropriate,…
Yes, and Non's was even more so - in one he had a huge head of red hair, and then in the next it was totally different. I wonder what the original story was - they obviously did a lot of reshoots.

I like the show because of the production value, the hot people, and the acting, but I agree with basically everything…
That actually explains a lot.

I'm not sure about New - I wasn't getting much from him. But I thought Max was nuanced in his performance, although the excessive coldness of both the semes was just not enjoyable. If the ukes just knew they were like that and rolled their eyes and dealt with it it would be one thing, but Diao was scared and in tears, and it wasn't much better for Kuea. How are they like that when they've known each other that long? It just doesn't ring true.

The premise can be silly, but the characters still have to behave like real people, even if they're ghosts or body-swapped, or an evil twin.

Not to be negative Nancy here but, yeah, I totally agree! This show is such a walking paradox. The comments have…
I think that's a good analysis. From what someone above said, they're cramming two novels into one story, which may have led to insufficient set up of both couples. There can be missing info that unfolds as the series progresses, but if there's too little context to what seems like two very strange and unhealthy relationships then it's off-putting.

I have nothing at all against a D/s dynamic, but there's usually passion in them - this is just cold and emotionless - not just parental, they're more like step-parents in a Victorian novel that don't love the children they're forced to be responsible for.

But I also agree that there is still potential here with a high-quality production and some good actors.

dude its just a fiction. btw tbh this plot its like a korean drama. i mean when other series always small talk…
What does whether or not it's fiction have to do with anything? Badly-written fiction is not as good as well-written fiction. Is that a difficult concept? Why does everyone get so sensitve about these discussions?

and yeah in south east asia majority is never had a sex or kiss even they'r 20-25
The average age of first sex in Thailand is 20.5, so you are almost certainly mistaken. In Vietnam it's 19.7. There's no data for Cambodia or Laos, but you'd expect it to be somewhat similar.

Uhm, just because you kissed when you were six doesnt mean, everyone has to have the same experience as you. Also,…
Yes, but not ALL or even most people, whereas it's 99% of BL characters. And in real life that's usually a personal choice, and a 20-something still wouldn't talk about it as if they're 11 years old. in the 19th century. A person isn't a child because they choose not to date or kiss, whereas your patronizing response suggest you believe otherwise.

Ok I forgive them only 'cause it's Mainland China but that "kiss" was so bad, it was just lips resting on other…
The way they look at each other is fairly unreserved, though, and not everyone has the guts to punch Xi in the nose like that with that sweater. Plus, even Thai BLs haven't stopped with the evil gf trope yet, so points for that.

I just want everyone to notice that in episode 6 we have a sweater with a Winnie The Poo cartoon on a CHINESE…
I noticed that, and they get major point for that - they could get in serious trouble for that, and it's brave.
On In Your Heart Feb 27, 2022
OK, the kiss was bad, but it's a Chinese BL, and they went from self-perceiving as straight to a kiss, which is progress. There's still 2 more eps, so let's see if the second kiss is a bit less like what a mortician might expect from his clients.

There's something really charming about this, as simple as it is - probably partly that the main pair are gorgeous. Hu Shi Wen is sexy, so I didn't really notice until this ep how beautiful Hu Bo Wen is. The acting is so-so, but I'm getting a little tired of the heavily-understated Thai style - it hides lack of acting ability better, but it can be so bloodless that I can't invest.

Also, I like the Yue Yu Zhi character - it was cute how he was trying to hold in his tears of joy when Xiang Lin called to apologize.

I actually really liked Ep 6 - I thought it was really brave and different - but Ep 1-5 were a little dull and Ep 7 was... there. I don't get why they didn't really follow up on what they did last ep, and watching the entire cast wallowing in self-pity for 45 minuts was not particularly riveting. I do really like both Pak and Khaitoon as a character - he's not your standard-issue uke because he has agency, is competent and can look out for himself, and he knows how to walk (and even ride a bicycle), which is unusual.

Part of my attitude is pre-supposed resolution of all the outstanding issues next ep in an unsatisfying manner, but I should probably wait to see - they've already done some surprising things, so maybe it will be better than I'm expecting.

lol.. you are calling others narrow minded when you are personification of narrow mindedness..Why would you look…
That's a very serious generalization and mischaracterization. Divorce rates are higher in love marriages because they're marriages of choice. Arranged marriages are common in societies where divorce is not an option and it doesn't matter how unhappy the couple is - not to mention that their happiness is not the first priority in the arrangement. And You can't get more narrow minded than calling someone the personification of narrow mindedness because they have a different opinion than you do.

I don't hate it, but I don't get any enjoyment out of watching it. They took an interesting premise and made it boring and conventional. I think maybe the casting is off for Nuea - they needed someone sympathetic instead of someone who just comes off as a self-aborbed entitled brat. The production quality is high, but is it bringing anything new to the table?

It's not the details that are the problem - it's just the overall dullness.

Do you guys like this? If so, why? It's slow and dull, the main character is unlikeable, and has any BL writer ever had a drink before? Alcohol can't make you not recognize people (although it can make you find them a LOT more attractive than you would when you're sober) - all these writers seem to think it's a hallucigenic rape drug. Ugh. And people in their 20s have never kissed? Is that possible? I'm two generations behind and my first kiss was when I was six.

Even the song wasn't good. There's nothing wrong with New's voice, but the music was way too low for him and the auto-tune hurt my brain.

The relationship dynamics are weird and unpleasant, and too similar for both couples. The only fresh spots for me are the maid and Poppy with his perfect butt and comic timing. Well, and also looking at Zee - it's hard to get tired of that.

The preview made this one of the series I was most looking forward to, but they took an interesting premise and somehow made it totally formulaic and conventional, even hitting the usual trip/fall/stare.

After this ep I'm starting to share your concern - it looks like they're planning to send in Ice - but for what purpose? Unless it's to bring him a puppy to cheer him up... also, I didn't realize he was in college! Why would you cast a 14-year old as a college student?
