That's a good point. It feels like the kind of thing she would refuse to do, but she might after rolling her eyes and sighing melodramatically. (I like her character.)

Thanks for the summary. I knew the funeral was going to be massive character assassination across the board, which…
When I write something, I want criticism of it, or I can't improve it. Criticism is absolutely essential to an artist of any kind, especially an author, because using language to express an idea is difficult and is successful only so far as you are able to clearly do that. If you are not expressing something in a way that communicates what you're hoping to, only other people's feedback can allow you to develop your skills and give you the outcome you want.

I think what's starting to happen is that "safe space", which when I was in school meant a place where anyone could express any opinion that they wanted to (within the limits of decency) without opprobrium - now it means a place where you don't have to hear anything you don't want to.

That's not mentally healthy. If you don't hear other people's thoughts and ideas, you're losing out on obtaining broader perspectives on things. Countless times on this site, my posting what I thought about something has generated a response pointing out things I missed about a particular scene or story that changed my opinion of it - in both positive and negative directions.

As far as blocking people, I might block people who are rude and just attacking, but I would never block someone for strongly disagreeing with me.

"You're a toxic hater why are you so negative" might make me block someone if that behavior persists - I would generally try once to engage that person to help understand why they feel that way, because it may mean that the way I wrote something didn't come across as I meant it to, which is usually the case. But "I can't more strenuously disagree with you on this because [presents reasons]" would never tempt me to block someone. That's usually a sign that someone's perspective is so different that I might not have understood a scene correctly, or perhaps they didn't. Either way, something is gained.

There are also guilty pleasures, and sometimes that's watching something awful because it's so bad it's good, and for me, the funeral scene propelled this series into that category, and. also for this series, this discussion section is more entertaining than the show, and I really enjoy it, even if I'm mystified that people can actually not see the difference between criticising the writing of a piece of light entertainment and attacking an actual human being, especially when they use the lable "toxic" with no apparent irony.

Isn't it a bit narcissistic to label everyone who doesn't agree with you 'toxic'? Toxic is being rude to other people, for example calling them toxic for having opinions, not criticisng a piece of light entertainent. It's incredible to me that there are so many people who don't understand that being negative in a review of a silly program is never comparable to being rude to an actual human being.

Almost everyone here is capable of discussing this show and having fun doing it - sometimes when something is awful it's enjoyable to talk about it, especially here where the commentary is much more entertaining than the show itself. We should be celebrating the fact that we have so many witty posters rather than complaining that somoene doesn't like some fictional person they are attached to.

Having a negative opinion of a series doesn't make someone a negative person. A negative person is someone who tries to bully people that they don't agree with into silence.

I wasn't precisely sure how to organize a response to episode 10. So I'm just going to jump in. Usually I do character…
The problem with the funeral was its ridiculousness, not comparative studies in cultural attitudes towards death. That they just ploppped a tiny little coffin on the grass and Pha's mother didn't attend were bad enough. But from a character perspective, that Mark and Kit were sticking with their ridiculous separation training instead of being there for each other, not to mention Mark not being there for his obviously grief-stricken best friend, was absurd and made the characters self-absorbed narcissists.

Did anyone comment on Thanu holding hands with Wayu? That was normal and I barely noticed.

I really wish they'd left it as Rak Diao - searching for One Love or One and Only is almost useless. It could have been worse if they'd named it A An The, but not much.

OK, I'm going to try to like this. The leads are good (and really cute). But there are a few issues for me. The opening scene was a great intro to Christian - he's very well drawn in an economical way. But there's too much voiceover in this episode, combined with too many phone calls. The script feels like it was written by a (good) playwright who's used to the stage.

The girl who asked for gin said much more with her face than the others did with their voiceovers - whoever that actress was, she stood out to me. If all those people had been "show, don't tell" like her, that scene would have been perfect.

None of this is too much of a problem and I get that this is really hard to do on a really low budget, and first episodes tend to have exposition - but not a word of exposition was used in the first scene and it was the best in the episode and gave us the most information.

But then we get two cliches that are not great - one is the screeching predatory trans characters - Tita Kelly calmed down after her intro and I can tell she'll be a strong character, but I'm expecting the maid to be "comic" relief all throughout. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am.

But the second one - the boys meeting by crashing into each other. Haven't we seen that enough times? In this case it was especially bad - just two lone boys on a seriously gigantic beach but they still somehow collide and moreover they land so that their faces are together and they can stare at each other for an implausibly long time?

When writers do that, it suggests that men shouldn't be seeking love with men - they have to be pushed into it by external circumstances, otherwise it's too gay. But beyond that, it's just so overused that it's really offputting and feels lazy.

So he had that photo taken, and then hid it in a place that wouldn't be disturbed by two huge wars and then went to retrieve it in his next life? What if they built an office tower there or something? Maybe he made several copies and put them in different places for redundancy.

The acting in this is lot better than in most of these. That was the first time that someone acted like an actual drunk person, instead of serial vomiting, not recognizing anyone, having his memory erased, and trying to rape everyone. And it was cute. And nobody gave him a piggy-back ride. Also, he cries like an adult instead of a Mexican soap actress.

Add "drink water" to the list of things ukes can't do by themselves. I was going to quit, but then he didn't cut himself on a shard, which is a huge miracle so I was happy. Also, it's nearly unheard of for the uke to do what he did on the bridge. I like that he has agency and doesn't take any sh#$ from anyone.

I really don't understand why so many here say it's boring. I just finished EP6 and I so love the story of Milk…
I'm watching it and enjoying it, but let's be honest, it's pretty boring. What has really happened in six episodes? Milk got hurt and went to the hospital where a doctor became obsessed with him and is squatting in his aparentment and making him spooge with erotic massages. That's about it. And people have inexplicable jobs where they don't have to work and can even spend all day sleeping.

Oh God. This thread is making me LOL so much. I was totally thinking that myself. When it became clear it was a pet, I assumed it was a helpless kitten or uke, but it was a huge full-grown dog that can fend for itself. People were hard on Milk, but I'd be pissed if my sort-of boyfriend blew off everything all day for that.

This was such a huge disappointment - the first series was actually quite good, but this is the worst. I've heard the follow-on to this, "Twinkle Twinkie Little Star" is pretty good - I'm thinking of giving it a try.

Same here. I did set it on 1.5x or 2x few times, but I actually watched most of it. it was probably one of the better epsidoes, because at least the exes provoked some emotional responses. All we've really seen from Pun is "placid smirk" and "concerned he's not pleasing Milk enough."
On Physical Therapy Feb 28, 2022
I love that Dr Pun showed of for work like once in two months then immediately called in sick when he got there. Everyone should stop worrying about what Dr Yang did and worry more about what Dr Pun HASN'T done. How many people died of neglect while he's been giving Son erotic massages?

If Dr Pun had any game, he would have immediately called Milk on the new phone. But he doesn't. Instead he had Milk deal with his gross toenail.

"TBH, I don't want to be a doctor." No shit, Sherlock. We figured that out a long time ago.

Usually when a series is half over you think "Oh, no! What am I going to do when it's over?" But for this you think "This is ONLY half over? How is that possible?"

But unfortunately, I can't not watch Son, and Dr Pun's showers aren't hurting, either. That was boring as f#$%, but Petch finally got to do some acting, and Son was really good.

He finally went to workA ad then he immediately called in sick.

As for the fiance, she arrived and waited for him to show up at work. How could she know she'd have to sit there for several weeks?

Milk was aware that he had no reason to be angry. He just acted on his impulse - jealousy. I liked that he did that. It was a dick move, but it was also relatable and felt like something a real person would do.

Does that really qualify as a BL? Actually, does it even qualify as a story? It felt more like random words were written on slips of paper, tossed into a bag, then drawn out and pasted together to write the script. TBH, you don't need to watch any of a Ranz Gonzales production to know the ending because they all have the same ending, so what's the point?
