I don't think there's a difference, at least between the aisplay and GagaOOLala - the runtime is the same.

You almost have to think he was written to be comically useless. A character that totally without agency has to be the author inserting herself into the story to get fantasy guys. Otherwise, why is it always boring useless people like Wayu that all the guys want? Why would anyone want to date a lump of wet cardboard? I'd rather have Sandee - if nothing else he could crush all my enemies for me. (And he's really cute.)

I'm expecting a totally conventional ending for this, but I'll let you know if it's suprising in a good way.

I've been avoiding his tiktok because I know once I see it I'll have to watch all of it. SO THANKS A LOT. :) He's not a bad dancer, but he's not a great on, either. But he dances with abandon and lack of self-consciousness, which is both cute and hot.

Got it. The GagaOOLala subs are really good - they seem to get more of the nuance, although we're always at a handicap because Thai scrips use a lot of wordplay that will be lost on non-natives.

This is exactly like You're My Sky, except with much less attractive, unappealing characters including a ML I hope dies, sub-par acting, much more predictable. inferior production values, and no BL whatsoever. But other than that it's just as good.

But those two are so cute together I can't stand it. Dr. Boss is too cute as well. I love the vulnerable grumpy characters. Nadia is an idiot. She will never find anyone hotter than the barista (who is also a gentleman, and you know he'd be devoted. And that body.)

There's something we aren't getting with the Por thing - I don't think it's as simple as it looks - that guy could be his brother for all we know - we haven't seen anything unambiguously incriminating. I know Por was disappointed Tawan wouldn't sleep with him, but he should have known he's not the romantic lead and so he would never be allowed to have sex with the lead uke. It's BL law.

Well, Por definitely mishandled it, but Tawan isn't 16, he must be in his late 20s if he's a full doctor, so Por probably had the expectation that at that age he would be getting into a physical relationship.

So while he has a real reason to be disappointed in the situation, it needed a conversation, not being an asshole like that. I certainly wouldn't be interested in a non-sexual relationship, but if someone were that reluctant, I'd want to know why and see if we could overcome it, not just be a dick to him.

Ep 6? I thought it was coming out Monday.

Dr Por is an asshole, but he was upset not because Tawan was busy, but because Tawan was doing everything possible to avoid getting physical with him. He has every right to expect that in a relationship, but if the other person isn't ready for that, then they should talk about it - if they're in such different places in their lives, it's probably not their time to be together. But you have to talk about it - and why wouldn't you? There might be some simple reason why Tawan was afraid the Por could have reassured him about.

Why did they translate the English phrase "Oh, my love" sang repeatedly into totally unrelated sentences?

Also, why is this called "Secret Crush On You"? Everyone is very aggressive with their crushes - they're all the opposite of secret.

I wish they'd just made Toh nerdy - he's so creepy and weird that it's difficult to see why Nuea would be so interested in him. Sky and Jao makes more sense, but the scene where Jao was sitting on th pavement and refusing to get in the car was strange and irritating - who behaves like that? He was offering a ride, not an arranged marriage.

I ended up skipping so much of this there's really not much point.

This series is suffering from how irrelevant Enchante is - they really needed to build him up with several exchanges in the book. Because he only wrote one thing, we just weren't given a chance to invest in the idea. I've gotten to the point that I'm so bored with it that I skip quickly through it all (well, except Saifa) for the Theo and Akk scenes, and even those I only care about for Akk.

The other issue is that Theo is so dull and irritating (even in English it's insufferable when people correct French pronunciation, and Theo's own pronunciation isn't great, frankly) that it feels like Akk is too good for him and I want him to get Saifa instead. It was even more interesting to see him with JJ this ep. He does look good in a towel, though.

Well, I'd have to agree that Wayu is the most boring character. But he's SO boring that it's become funny, whereas Theo is just boring.

It's not great, but it has a certain charm. I like that it's not doing the uke-seme thing - they're both just guys. Also, they get points for all the Winnie the Pooh stuff

It's hard to tell - he could have been messing with him, or he could have just thought the reaction was cute. I thought he was sincere because of the way he needed a hug. It could have been just because he was the first person he ran into, or he could have needed it from him specifically. We'll see, I guess!

He can't be her actual father unless the landlady is also a spirit. The House Spirit isn't a ghost of a human, he's something else. "Dad" doesn't literally need to mean "father", it can be a patron or respected elder.

Ep 7 was disappointing. It didn't follow through on the events of last ep, and we had the old tired "be meant to you for your own good" nonsense. And the secondary couple is just treated as a joke. I don't mind if they're comedic, but they shouldn't just be one long punchline.

Why is it so hard for BL to end in a satisfying manner? The number of BLs that ended well I could probably count on one hand.

I'll let you know after next ep. So far, meh. They are cute together and deeply love each other.
