They dragged out the Ben story arc way too much.
The Ben story arc? Do you mean Luck? Or are you talking about an earlier episode?

I was right Crazy landlord lady and the house spirit is daughter and father!I was also right!!! About how Phob…
You were definitely right. It feels a little like Phob's dad is more of a villain than the landlady at this point - or both, maybe.

My impression of this show plummeted this ep - it's starting to feel like a waste of time. Some reasons:

- There are precious few BLs coming out of Korea as it is - yet more happened with the straight couple in this, the second-to-last episode of an already short series, and involving a character nobody likes. Inexcusable.

- They're staring to add scenes merely to throw in BL tropes. How did the drunk scene advance the plot? It didn't at all. It was there solely to insert the horrendously overused piggy-back ride. Likewise, why was red-haired guy wearing his hair tied up like that? It's too short for that, and it's only there because BLs seem to require that someone do that at some point.

- They're adding scenes that don't do anything at all. What was the point of the bathroom scene? Red-haired guy's reaction was psychotic and nothing happened in the shower, so why include this? Why not have the scene at the movies, which actually was part of the advancement of the plot, progress further - you can even be stereotypical, with their hands touching on the common arm of their seats.

This episode was pure filler - ridiculous when there's less than 2 hours of run-time. I probably won't bother watching the conclusion, since it's going to be rushed and unsatisfying, and probably mostly about the straight couple. The m/m one will like end with the most soulless kiss we've ever seen, if it even has that much, because these actors couldn't be more uncomforable being ins someting this gay - that can't even be bothered to promote it.

That scene they showed from Nobleman Ryu - was that in the series? I would think I'd remember that.

Who else showers with the towel on? jkjkjkjk
Have you seen Rak Diao? Rak wraps a tower around his waist - over his trousers - as he's headed to the show, and he's alone. People in BLs always seem to do things in the wrong order when it comes to showers.

i'll never understand why so many people voted thanuwayu over thanuphai, it would've been a lot more interesting…
My theory is that younger voters like the helpless/useless uke with tall seme to protect and do everything for him, and Phai had too much agency. People probably didn't know what to do with an uke who can tie his own shoes and not faint when sunlight touches him.

A tip for you who are thinking about watching this season: skip all the wayu and thanu scenes.
I think it would be better to skip all the scenes. Except maybe the funeral and the grave visit from this ep.

What it is it that makes you feel it's going too fast? Is it that you think the story progresses too fast to be…
I guess I can see that. Maybe I'm comparing this to some of the previous series with even shorter episodes.
On Gen Y Season 2 Mar 9, 2022
Well, that was terrible, and I have diabetes now. Was that ep written by a 10-year old girl? How much more sickly-sweet could it have been? Jack & Koh are fun because they fight. Sandee is fun because he's evil. Kit is fun because he's grumpy. When you make everyone the same kind of sweet, you deprive them of their distinctness as characters and produce the most boring hour possible.

"Thank you, Wayu, for teaching me how to confront my problems".

That's like going to Hitler to teach you how to fight anti-Semitism.

"Shouldn't I be proposing?" So here were are with this again - bottoms aren't real men, so the top has to do all the proposing.

Even though he's dead, Pha didn't fail to be the highlight of the episode with the most LOL tombstone achievable. Was that styrofoam or was it the cake for the series wrap party? I couldn't tell.

I have two positive things to say:

- Points to Dun for grinding into Bas instead of planking over him like in most BLs love scenes.
- This was so conclusive that there's little chance the world will be burdened with a S3.

Are you saying that the source material contains SA? Because the trailer doesn't.
PWP doesn't seem to be a very good basis for a BL since there's almost never any P (although to be fair, they're also usually WP)

Can someone explain what happened in ep 6
Nothing. Then something, but it stopped prematurely.

Well... Episode 6 was a good bed-scene filler... Did anyone noticed it was about the rain? Their eyes looked so…
I liked that they aren't afraid to touch - when they were... at it... their bodies were pressed together. in Don't Say Know, there was always a foot of space between them, even when they were having sex - Leo always looked like he was planking.

Lala is a true idol!!!Poor Bank, though. He had a 10 seconds long scene and still managed to steal the episode…
Bank does seem to steal every episode, but as he's never in it for more than a few seconds, that's not a very good commentary on the series. Thee's muscle shirts also steal the show, I must say.

Do you guys recommend this series? I've been thinking about whether to watch this or not. Or should I wait until…
It's really boring, IMO, and I don't feel the chemistry between the leads. But some people like it, so it's probably worth giving a try.

Hmm. So, itsn't it a little creepy the way Ryo infantalizes Anda, treating him more like a child than a boyfriend, and then wants to f#$% him? It's bad enough that Turbo looks 12, but he also acts 12 - I get pedo vibes from this. Not as strong as the incest vibes, but still.

But the bigger issue is this is really dull - I had a hard time getting through it. And while I applaud how comfortable the actors were in the intimate scene, I don't feel any chemistry. Maybe part of it is that the soft filter is so oppressive that nobody really looks like a real human being.

The Japanese version is a lot sillier, but at least it keeps moving.

At this point, it's really Thee's body and Bank that keep me watching.

I think you mentioned that you lived in East Asia for a while. If it was long enough, then I think you exactly…
It was mostly "wear an oppressively heavy coat or you'll die", "eat an oppressive amount of food or you'll die", "wear a mask when the air is like this or you'll die" (that one is true), and fortunately, no matchmaking since they don't want white people touching their women. I did see people drinking hot water, but because I seemed to fit in the guest category it was always tea for me, or maybe everyone just knows that Westerners generally don't like plain hot water. Needless to say, not bathing for a month after giving birth didn't come up.

I was there on extended business (based in Shanghai), so my situation was probably more formal than it would be for a student or longer-term resident.

I still don't see how damp underwear could possibly give you the runs, although that would be particularly unpleasant during the winter.
On Oh! Boarding House Mar 8, 2022
This is cute, but there's someting missing that I can't quite place - maybe it's the directing, which should make it a bit snappier, and the acting might be a little too conventional. It feels a little like it's being held back and needs to cut loose, or what should be funny and cute just becomes awkward. There's not a lot of chemistry between the leads, and there's so much makeup on them that it's clearly noticable and a bit weird, like when Cheol Soo touched Seol Won's lip, I expected his finger to get permanently stuck on the inch of lip gloss slathered onto him.

the thing I am really annoyed at is on how the tenants was irresponsible for their own living duties in the house.…
It's a boarding house, which is more expensive and provides services like cooking and cleaning. The boys are still pigs and should be polite and be a bit neater, but it really is Seol Won's responsibility to do all that.

Wow. This drama actually got me hooked. Although there are scenes that got me confused and made me felt that it…
What it is it that makes you feel it's going too fast? Is it that you think the story progresses too fast to be good, or thta you like it so much that you wish it could be longer? I'm just curious because I think the pacing is very good - sometimes when episodes are only 10 minutes there's not enough time to let any scenes develop, but I think that this series does.

Title My Ride
I love Mork, but Tawan is irritating. Por is an asshole, but Tawan was being psycho when he went to Por's apartment. A small object falling is not a reason to pound on someone's door shouting their name like that. His behavior is what you'd expect if there was a blood-curdling scream and flames shooting from under the door. Even my mother isn't that bad, and she thinks I'll die if outside air touches me without a jacket on.

And his begging Por to tell him what he did wrong was pathetic. He's way too immature for an adult relationship - I totally get why Por lost interest, even if there's no excuse for how he handled the situation.

I have to admit I'm having trouble getting through Ep 6 - this is starting to get boring and repetitive. We really needs to get moving - this is ep 6 and we're more or less exactly where we were in Ep 1.

Boss and Toy were cute this ep - I really like this couple. And Yoon is to calves what Fluke is to dimples. Nadia better not have been saying she needs a man who makes more money or I will smack her. It really sounded like she was telling him she wasn't interested because he's not a good enough provider. I would be perfectly happy to be the breadwinner and have someone like him at home to "take care of me". At least thrice daily.
