Don't think much dear. .. it's finally happen after 2 years long wait 🤗
Yes - but aren't we all still feeling burned by Love By Chance 2? I'm afraid of something like that. The description says "parallel to Love Mechanics" which means happening at the same time, so it's essentially overwriting that story. That makes me nervous, although I like the idea of War on my screen for 10x45 min.
It's not a discrepancy so much as it's the fact that the pronunciation of Jill sounds like "Jew" in Thai. So when…
Spelling it "Jew" is a bit problemmatic. I think it was in So Much In Love, not Gen Y, but someone said something like "Shut up, Jew!" which to Western ear is very disturbing. Like you said, Jiu would be much better, and is a better approximation in English in most dialects. ("iu" suggests a short vowel and "ew" a longer one.)
SPEECHLESS........Kit is being a idiot once again and is just straight up ignoring Mark, if I was Mark I would've…
Mark and Kit agreed to practice being apart, so they're both idiots, aren't they? I don't think it's just Kit's fault. TBH, the whole storyline is stupid.
Is this going to be a love triangle with a girl? Just wondering if I should cross it off my list. I mean if it's just a 4-ep story stretched out to 10, I'm not sure I want to invest the time.
Yup, they even have talking points that get repeated over and over: its "awkward" and "immature" or "childish"…
There do seem to be a lot of people who are only interested in watching morally and behaviorally pure cute boys being cute to each other, which I find coma-inducing (both regular and diabetic) unless there are a lot of shower scenes. But I suppose morally perfect people don't let water pour down their tight abs in slow motion.
The extra scenes this week add nothing and were boring, but I described them above.
I think this show is really underrated - it could be a bit more energetic, but the writing is logical and follows a plot, unlike almost all BLs, which meander all over the place.
And it surprises me at times, too - I was 100% sure the dream would end when they were very close to each other and Phat would wake up - I did not expect it to do where it did - and this might be the first BL in history where people wake up after a night's sleep with bed head instead of looking like they just came back from the stylist.
But is so cute and charming in this - it's like he's a different person, which just goes to support my theory that Oxygen was terrible and poorly directed. Plan is a really good actor too, but he's laboring under the burden of having a boring character to play - hopefully his place in the plot becomes more interesting than foil for Phob.
A couple of people were commenting on the tonal shifts being jarring, but I don't agree - light horror usually has comedy mixed in with it, which is necessary because unless it's really terrifying, horror isn't all that interesting on its own, and this is a romance with some horror elements, not a true horror.
The drama itself stated that Phob can’t literally touch things. But explained to me how he -as a ghost, managed…
All ghost stories do this - it's inevitable. Actually Phob said he can touch things when he concentrates, and can fairly easily lift small things. I don't think this series is doing it any worse than He's Coming to Me or Peach of Time, or any of the other dozens of ghost stories. Even Sixth Sense had some inconsistencies.
I feel like they accidentally called Sandee to the set, and some labor law or something required him to have a speaking part, so they threw him in for absolutely no conceivable reason for something so irrelevant it felt like it was designed to piss us off.
The white lipstick comment, I'm dead.Legit though, if they only had one episode left to resolve everything at…
What I don't get is that they could fill this time with much more interesting things - like for example, who the hell IS Thana, anyway? He just appeared one day. What's his past, background, etc.? Why is Sandee like that? What kind of a life has he led? Why doesn't anyone have parents? Heck, I would even prefer it if they all burst into song every episode like a Broadway musical. Literally anything but endless soulless staring.
One thing I do appreciate is the playful sexualization in this story - Tee plays dirty, but anyone with a pulse would have no choice but to ogle THAT. And I liked how Ryo got hot and bothered picturing Anda's "O" face when he was working out. It's kind of a nice balance to the Victorian nature of the romance.
And FINALLY, someone lost a tooth from an accidental kiss - I thought that would never happen! I was groaning when their lips met and about ready to drop the series, but then they surprised me!
I am currently 2 eps behind, thought I've watched the main clips here and there. Anyone else struggling to get…
There are two or so people enjoying it, perhaps 30 struggling to get through it, and the rest have either died of boredom or committed seppuku to escape the torment.
