Namo? Do you mean Gram? I don't think Sean has had anything to do with her. But Gram isn't gay - he kissed her but she wasn't into him.

He hated Black and is intrigued with White because he's so different. Of course there's palpable tension - they're the main couple! But that doesn't make him gay.

I don't think Sarawat is gay - he had girlfriends before. Just because he loves Tine more doesn't make him gay, but the problem here is we're speculating, because none of these characters IDENTIFY as gay. The only one is as you mentioned Ohm in He's Coming to Me. Pran probably is, but he doesn't identify as such.

That's how many hundreds of BLs and only ONE main character that identifies as gay? That's horrible. So .01% of characters, maybe? This is a genre that's exploiting people's desire to see m/m love, yet actually being gay is virtually forbidden - and while characters like Pran probably are, they're not allowed to say it, which is what The Closet is - it's insidious and harmful.

Sean is a loner - it would cost the story nothing for him to be overtly gay - but then you'd have a gay seme, which is totally forbidden.

Sorry, responded prior to edit. If anyone turns out to be gay, I'll take it all back - but to watch BL after BL and be hit by this homophobic trope over and over and over again is getting old. White, Black, Sean, and Gram are not gay. Dan and Yok are still available, so we'll see, but I'd be willing to bet the life of my dog that there's no chance they'll make a police officer gay.

Erasing gays except to be effeminate bottoms is not pro-queer, or at least it's very selective. Bi is OK because it's not gay. Likewise, there are no gay semes, because REAL men don't do you-know-what.

If any of the characters on this show turn out to be gay, then I'm wrong, but I'm 99% certain that none of them are.

Almost every single BL character that has ever existed has been technically bi, although they usually identify as straight. That almost none of them ever identify as gay, and then only bottoms or fems, makes it a shamefully hidden group, which is especially disappointing under a pride flag.

ALL BL characters are bi-coded - it's not like there's underrepresentation. But virtually NO BL characters are gay.

This was a good episode, but they're trying to have it both ways. It's incongruous to have a strong statement about LGBTQ+ pride but still stick to a 1980s Yaoi formula that has straight men in love. It would have taken only the slightest tweak to have White and Sean as gay characters, but they just couldn't do it.

Pride is about being open, proud and seen - what BL does is the opposite.

Whoever wrote this needs to take a writing class. 9 minutes in and all that's happened is a character asked another to fill out a questionnaire, then we watched the questionnaire being filled out, then the chracter went home and we watched him arrange himself on a couch to take a nap. He then gets a call from a character we don't know telling us another character we don't know has died, after which he sits motionless contemplating this news. This is so boring I had to take a break to come here and complain.

OK, so then his dog gets so bored that he pushes the main character off his skateboard so now he's laying unconscious in a hospital for 5 minutes of screentime while a doctor stares at him. Then we get a bunch of people we don't know standing around in a hallway discussing the organizational structure of a health clinic. This is followed by more doctor staring at patient (& out window), and we've hit the 20-minute mark with absolutely nothing of interest having happened. And now they've put the entire act of peeing on film. Like 30 seconds of peeing.

Scintilating.

really, I cant see it that way.
It was never mentioned in S1 that Damon was ever raped, and if Angelo was responsible it would have affected how he behaved. All this murder and mayhem overshadows the themes of the series and reduces it to a melodramatic soap opera, not what it used to be, which was a moving and philosophpical story about facing death. Also, with every line screamed instead of spoken, the very poor sound quality is accentuated.

Just for sh#$s & giggles, I ran your sentence through translate and got ขาของฉันได้รับบาดเจ็บระหว่างการฝึกซ้อมวิ่งช้า. "I'm coming" comes out ฉันมาแล้ว, or 46 key strokes vs. 9.

But he could have dictated a text which would only take 2-3 buttons.

Because he was limping toward class and walking on a crutch and typing texts are not compatible. Before that he was probably in a lot of pain and in a clinic getting treated.

This is so beautiful to look at - the color composition of that last shot was just perfect. The director has an amazing eye.

I just wish the story was 1% as interesting as the visuals. I just don't care at ALL. Except Dome and Vee. I wish the series would center more around them. The main couple is so dull - I felt much more chemistry with the child actors portraying them.

[After episode 1]It might be because I've watched it soon after Rainbow Prince, but wow! This seems pretty solid!…
The quality of this is objectively high. The cinematography, art design, color grading, lighting, everything - top rate, maybe the best ever. The story, however, is so uninteresting to me that it's hard to maintain interest. But it's still worth watching just for how beautifully it's filmed.

Episode 3 just makes it clear to me that even though this show doesn't take itself seriously, it still takes itself…
That's a good way of describing it. I guess I'd rate it "half-assed camp." I think it needed to be dialed up several notches - as it is now, it doesn't have anything in it that's good, nor anything in it that's so bad that it's good. The should get rid of all the female actors and replace them with drag queens, make all the fashion OTT, and the plot more outrageous.

You're right, I know - I only zeroed in on Adrian because he's the actor most obviously cast for looks. Eurwin is cute too, but not on quite the Pinoy Ken-doll scale as Adrian, and he's somewhat better as an actor. The bit players are so bad that it would have been better to have just pulled in strangers off the street and had them read lines off a script. Or just improvise their lines. Or quietly stare at their phones.

I couldn't get through 30 seconds of the first scene - Zeyn's acting is pure cringe - I wonder how bad all the other takes were if this is what they chose. Or maybe that's it - they only do one take per scene. It would be far better to get an actor who was a tenth as attractive as Zeyn but ten times better at acting.
